It was a slow Pinball that landed right at origi’s feet and he didn’t do what Jota did all day, he found the empty side of the net.Was changing a poopy diaper and you score on some poopy.

Haven't see the highlights but heard Mendy was bad today.I didn’t get to watch most of the game, for Chelsea, I assume it was cross and inshallah?
Liverpool needs to build a cushion because come January no Salah or Mane. Other teams are going to have some missing players too but those two are the biggest hit for one team. Here are the games Liverpool will have to do without those two: 1) Chelsea (they lose Ziyech and Mendy) but could be a Liverpool loss there; 2) Brentford should be a win; 3) FA Cup game; 4) Crystal Palace could be dicey; 5) Leicester City who has underachieved. Might back earlier as African teams get eliminated. It was a slow Pinball that landed right at origi’s feet and he didn’t do what Jota did all day, he found the empty side of the net.
It was dumb luck. But Fuck it, I’ll take it!
Big time for Spurs now. I am dealing with the two COVID clowns at Bayern, Kimmich and Moting. Neither has played for awhile and in quarantine and only two not vaccinated and then they got COVID last week or so and now having lung issues from it that will keep them out for rest 2021. No help to Bayern.COVID starting to fuck things up again.
I had forgotten about the cup. Yeah that’s going to suck. Jota will need to play better then he has these last few and one of the young kids will have to step up. I’m hoping he isn’t putting Ox in the front 3 like he did today. It was so much more fluent with Jota up there.Liverpool needs to build a cushion because come January no Salah or Mane. I agree. Hope the Spurs players ok. Spurs seem to be in decent position in EPL right now. Joshua Kimmich thinks his "lung infiltration" is not serious but you never know. As a soccer player that is worst possible issue when you have to run like these players do. Kimmich has not played since 11/7.Super frustrating. Spurs were starting to hit their stride under Conte and they get 1 game postponed due to weather and another 2 (possibly 3) due to Covid. I'm still not sure who all on the first team caught the virus. Hopefully it was all very minor and no one has long term effects.
The lung issues are a serious worry. I distinctly recall several NFL players last season struggling after their bouts with Covid.

Every other Bayern player, and there were a lot of them since this began, recovered quickly with mininal symptoms other Kimmich and Moting. These are the other players that have had it that I know of: Sule (twice), Gnabry (twice), Muller, Pavard, Goretzka, Kimmich, Moting, Stanisic.Hopefully any side effects are temporary, but from what I understand, one of the possible side effects is general lethargy and players unable to catch their breath.

It sure is and has hit my mother very hard. She was Phizer vaccinated in late May (second dose) then spent 12 days in hospital with Delta variant in July and has never been the same mentally. Now in assisted living after this. Been a real battle to deal with.Good to hear. I know last year, Myles Garrett caught COVID some time mid season and even at the end of the season and in the playoffs he couldn't stay on the field nearly as long as normal. Couldn't catch his breath.
Its a really weird disease in that it can affect people in different ways and some people carry symptoms for a long time.

Article today about Kevin De Bruyne still struggling with it. I think it will be in sports for some time. Brentford calling for postponement of games now. Spurs can't get their game in with Rennes and now 3 games behind EPL in league games to play. Becoming a huge issue again.

De Bruyne still feeling COVID-19 symptoms
Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne said he is still feeling the effects of COVID-19 nearly a month after first testing positive for the virus.www.espn.com
They should. More games already cancelled this weekend. For me, the Bundesliga ends this weekend for the Holidays and into next year anyways. Good timing. EPL plays too many games anyways. Need to ditch Carabao Cup too. NFL is in COVID trouble now too. I think the Rams have like a 3rd of their roster in COVID protocol or something. It is joke. Browns playing with 3rd string qb this weekend in critical game. Philadelphia MLS team had 11 players in COVID for their Eastern Conference MLS final. Results are getting skewed or will be more often. The new reality of sports. Injuries can screw your season and now COVID.Rumors the league will shut down until '22. Might be the smart route to go tbh.
Season will start early for sure with WC. Big problem not everyone will get vaccinated. Problem is with the the new variant, even vaccinated, it is so contagious you have players who are vaccinated and playing, then whole teams get it, maybe half will have symptoms and in the end you won't be playing games anyways. It is what it is, and the new life. If everyone vaccinated, maybe different story then start treating like the flu or a cold when they don't play either but seems more people getting this than cold or flu. I have two family members who got it and vaccinated and had symptoms so they couldn't play if they were soccer players. Also, if EPL lets positive players playing, they will get booted from UCL and Europa etc. Other countries playing their games what is up with England? It is a shit show though.EPL trying to get as many games in as they can because they don’t want to extend the season. They’ve stated it’s a hard stop on May 22nd. I’m guessing because they are going to want to start early because of that WC break next November and December.
If people are going to be missing significant starters (3 or more) stop all games and wait until this passes. But on the flip side, guys are testing positive with no or few symptoms and that’s it. Don’t want to make this political but at what point does this shit just end and this gets played through? Are we literally going to have players in the stands that tested positive yet are fine???? At some point someone Needs to have the balls to say play. SPECIFICALLY IF EVERYONE IS VACCINATED.
