I don't know if it's covid-related, but sometimes stuff just tastes...off. And it's not spoiled or anything. Just different. When I used to drink bourbon drinks, it tasted kind of like a band-aid. I got the same taste the other day when drinking apple juice. BUT I had a caramel apple bourbon cocktail a couple weeks ago and it was fine... no band-aid taste at all.
 I'm gonna have to try a taste of "band-aid" just in case I have issues with the taste buds in the future and I'll know what a band-aid tastes like.

I never lost my taste/smell, but I've known a couple people who did, and it can vary. Most of them it was very temporary, but at least one friend of ours lost it for nearly a year, and then when it started coming back, it was all weird, she said. I.e., healthy foods tasted like garbage, and junk food tasted like healthy food
I think our resident sommelier got fucked up with it pretty good, too. What a kick in the 'nads.

That gives me an idea for you, Hu. Get your team in a room, then fart. Tell them that if they don't smell that they have covid. If they do smell it tell them to go back to work and you'll test them again tomorrow.

For the peeps who've had Covid or know anyone who did, did it change your taste at all? I haven't lost taste (or smell) but I definitely feel like things are a little more sour than usual
Oh that's just from posting in this thread too much.

This is probably similar to what I've had. Like the orange juice I got just a few days ago tasted sour, but only sometimes (it's been well before the sell-by date). Same with a few others. Sometimes it's funky, sometimes it's normal.

My smell wasn’t effected. I didn’t lose my taste, everything just tasted super salty. Like you could take a bite of an apple and it would taste like you went and licked a horse’s salt block. That lasted about a week

why? he was anti vax... i bet the fat fucker gets the jab now.
Not getting one vaccine doesn’t mean anti vaccine. Does the kid have polio, measles and mumps shots? Anti vax is anti all vaccines. Jenny McCarthy is one of the loudest voices for it.
