My Dad mentioned a few times we should have gone bigger. But he does that alot when I'm on the hook for the bill.
The 26" worked fine for us and the bigger models are the price of a cheap car.

FiL has one in what was his folks barn. It’s old, no idea what brand or where it was made. But he makes some awesomeHave a friend who bought one of these portable mills...not sure what brand his is...it's yellow?!?!?
He pulls sinker cypress logs that have been in the water for decades...they look like shit when he drags the logs out but once he cuts the slabs from logs the real beauty of this 100+ year old wood shines through. He makes a lot of money doing this. It is hard work though...guy works his tail off.
