Dang. I was trying to think of one like this and then I got distracted. So it’s easier to put in your mouth?
Lol at blaming me for you being a retard
i just got a text from a co-worker that said i have until January 3 to provide HR w/ proof of vaccination or i will be subject to weekly testing. and if i have to get tested weekly, its going to cost me $100 each week
lol wut
We wouldn’t have enough employees to stay operational if this company decided to pull that. They paid me 500 bucks plus 8 hours of pay just to get the vaccine and that wasn’t enough incentive for the vast majority of the company’s employeesi just got a text from a co-worker that said i have until January 3 to provide HR w/ proof of vaccination or i will be subject to weekly testing. and if i have to get tested weekly, its going to cost me $100 each week

Paid leave or nah?![]()
dang. At least they’ll send us weekly tests for free.
But if you don’t have an exception in place by April, you get an automatic 3 month LOA.
No pay, but you don’t lose your job. So it makes me think I can go try something else out for that time and figure out which I like better, right?Paid leave or nah?
its not an issue for me b/c i'm vaccinated. I'm mostly annoyed b/c the short notice is 100% a product of my manager not informing me about this new procedure weeks ago when it was presumably first announced. He's horrible at communicating with his overnight staff. Luckily, I'm out of there in a couple of weeks. Moving to a different property in the same company.![]()

Yep. I’d be at least getting some tax free incomeNo pay, but you don’t lose your job. So it makes me think I can go try something else out for that time and figure out which I like better, right?
tbh, i'm guessing the co-worker is wrong about the $100 penalty. You don't do that b/c the hotel business definitely attracts an employee base that isn't going to get vaccinated. We wouldn’t have enough employees to stay operational if this company decided to pull that. Most of em would either retire or quit of that came down

68 degrees here. I considered long sleeves to go with my shorts today, but figured I’d tough it out.6 more inches of snow on top of the 6 inches already on the ground. 5th day in a row of subfreezing temps.
This is hell.

I’ve got three overdue trainings to complete. Guess I can do that today. I kinda forgot that I didn’t officially take this week off and I’m technically supposed to be working.
