It's Thursday,,, bring me fuel,,, bring me fire,,, bring me all that I desire

yup. started july 4th 2018. the chicks i post pics of, etc...big party, im newly single. i was 290 lbs. saw the pics posted online, got home that afternoon and ran 3 miles. hadnt run in years. just ran. couldnt even do 10 pushups, was pathetic.

i clocked in at 225 3 months ago. dr the other day, i gained 10 back (damn canolis). so, 235 right now. i went form XXL shirts to XL. waist went from a 42-44 to 38.

and it gets noticed. a lot.
Its funny, I always walked around at about 185 to 190. Even when I was strength training, and eating like a horse, I could never gain weight.
went through some rough shit, and started drinking and eating heavily, and hit 40 years old. Got up to 250. Didnt realize how fat I was until I got the scale and about shit my pants. Started working out with my neighbor, who had never worked out before, but he and his wife had purchased a bunch gym equipment.

Did a ton of cardio, and light weight lifting at first. started doing some heavy lifting after a couple months, but it didnt feel right, and I kept getting shoulder pain, and other shit. went to circuit training, and setting up 6 to 7 stations, 1 min each, and doing 2 or 3 cycles of that. Never felt better. Got down to 215, which is kind of where I had always wanted to be.

My neighbor lost 80 fucking pounds though. I was pretty proud of him. Im hovering around 225 now, and need to get back at it. Started hitting the speed bag, and attempting jump rope again. jumping rope has never been more difficult, but I'm going to try and stay motivated. But at 6'2", 225 dont look bad on me.

honest, this is my problem right now. my shirts are mostly XXL. they hang on me. i have 5-6 that fit me right now (like the one im in, just XL). doing some shirt shopping this weekend. vintage online shit.
we weigh about the same, no way i can get into an XL....maybe mine are made in China.

as we know, it varies my where you get it. some XLs fit, some dont.
I never go shopping, I just wear whatever shirts my wife buys..as long as they're black.

Hmmm.....wife is still working, I thought she'd be done by now. No gym today, so as long as she's done in time for golf, it's all good.

speaking of losing weight, dieting, and getting in shape, might run to popeyes for a spicy chicken sandwich.
