EPL 2021/2022

Crazy finish for Spurs. Steal a win at the death. Crazy. They have 4 games in hand to Chelsea and are 8 back. They go 3 and 1 they pass Chelsea into 3rd.

Seems there's rumblings that Spurs are trying to wrap up the Traore deal with Wolves. Also promising signs that they'll be able to offload Ndombele to PSG.

If it's just that 1 in and 1 out in January, its been a pretty successful window. The other deadweight they are desperately looking to shift out is Dele. No promising offers from what I can glean from the interwebs.

Talk about a nose dive. Remember not long ago when he was considered one of the English players with the brightest futures? And it was all just the typical "let's big him up him because he's English" hype, he actually has(d) talent, but seemingly lost all his talent and drive overnight. He went from being in the highlights on MOTD every week to most people forgetting he still plays.

Yeah, hard to pin the reasons for his fall. He won the young player of the year award 2x in a row. At one point, his market value was 80-100M!

One thing is pretty clear, he's never going to get back to where he was before while still at Spurs. This is 3 managers in a row who have stuck him down on the bench...and frankly, if Conte can't get the best out of you, no one can. He needs a change of scenery and Spurs need to move him out and bring a fresh face in (with a better attitude).

Josh Sargent finally scores in EPL minutes after missing out getting on USA team .... again.

The City draw is them just toying with everyone.

LFC need 3 at Palace tomorrow to keep themelves firmly in the top 4.

Lotta teams with a few games in hand.….

Got the 3. Surviving the Mane / Salah away issue very well. Spurs and Arsenal not good today, especially Arsenal. Good weekend for Liverpool, Chelsea, Man U, bad for West Ham, Arsenal, Spurs.

League may not be done just yet. Liverpool with a game in hand on City so that lead technically may only be 6 points but they have no room for error

Spurs just flat out not in the same league as Chelsea. 4 games played, all Ls, no goals for. Big oof.

Oh well, on to the next one. Spurs still in great position to claim that 4th spot (and thankfully, they're done playing the Blues for a while). Take care of business against all the teams outside of the top 3 and they're in great shape.

If I'm being fully honest, a draw would have been best case result for Spurs this past weekend. So I wasn't too upset about getting played off the pitch.

Tough result for the Hammers. Disastrous for the Gunners to draw at home vs Burnley.

Newcastle (and MBS) can't be too thrilled with the Burnley (and Norwich) results. Might have to do a Khashoggi operation on those two and Watford to stay above relegation. Bad humor, but couldn't help it.

Yeah, and thankful the teams we played weren’t strong. Fingers definitely crossed they are good to go that second game at Burnley.

I was shocked to see Arsenal draw and was piste United lucked the hell out.

Newcastle is in a very strange position. They finally have the financial backing, but since they are such a relegation threat they are having difficulties convincing quality players to sign on. Also can't attract top end managers right now.

They're going to splash as much cash as they can in hopes of staying up. Accomplish that, and they can really begin to transform the squad in the summer. Fail to stay up and things will get really interesting.

It's not just that. No one want to actually live in Newcastle. I've been to Tyneside, and while it can be a good night out on occasion, definitely not someplace I'd want to live.

So far they have poached Burnley striker, Trippier from Atletico, trying to get Lindgaard but that fell through. Still time in Transfer Window, but not much. I think Watford and Burnley are goners, can Newcastle pass Norwich who seemed to have improved a bit.

Adama heading to Barca. This one is a little surprising to me. Spurs had him on their radar with plans to convert him to a right back. Not sure where he fits into Barca's side.

Never understood the hype about him.

Never understood the hype about him.

I mean, he's a physical presence for sure and requires extra attention from defenses. I believe the idea for Spurs would be that Adama on the field means teams will have to account for him...possibly freeing up space for Harry Kane or Sonny.

Alas, its not to be. Not sure how he fits in Barca's system. He was there previously at a younger age and was let go because he didn't fit. Maybe they believe his skills are more refined now or something? 🤷‍♂️

WTF Mason Greenwood. Just like Mendy at Man City. Get your penis under control. Geez
