Not watching. Maybe if the NHL players went I might take a peak, but other than that no interest. Just like the summer Olympics, I only watched the soccer even though the men's was pretty putrid in quality.

I haven't watched the Limpics in any form since Seoul. And I'm not a fan of pros in them at all.
 
I didn't realize Max Kruse forced a transfer to Wolfsburg. So no wonder Union had a bad game. Why leave Union for Wolfsburg now? The Bundeliga's Nutella addict at Wolfsburg offsets the Weghorst move I guess.
 
Ulreich tested for COVID today. So far negative. How about Fruchtl against Bochum and Salzburg :facepalm:

I didn't realize that either. Maybe the facilities at Union are so bad he wanted out for that reason alone. The Wolves are farther away from playing in Europe than Union, so it's odd.

Something about wanting to be back at his original club...but still couldn't he play out the rest of the season to help Union into Europe? Pretty selfish, but the guy has been unstable in the past. Got kicked off German National Team for the Nutella issue...got out of shape. Not sure where I read it, but I heard it is true.
 
Musiala has COVID. Out tomorrow now and versus Salzburg. Pavard had a COVID so his status unknown too.
 
Other than the Bayern game, Leipzig have really got their act together after the coaching change. Olmo is back healthy too. Probably will make top 4 at end.

Defense horrendous. Upamecano complete trash like he was versus Gladbach. Single handedly cost 3 goals. Sule not much better. His mind out the door. Other than these two outrageous giveways. Kimmich, Gnabry, Sane here. Muller completely invisible. I don't blame Ulreich at all for any of the 4 goals. All shots were unsaveable. They threw Ulreich under the bus completely here. This one is lost. Need to bring another midfielder in. That is on Nagelsmann. Completely lost the midfield and overwhelmed. God awful coaching and performance.
 
How do you sign trash like Upamecano and let Sule leave? Makes no sense. Man is Upamecano slow and weak physically. They will rue these moves long term.
 
Get Upamecano, Gnabry, Sule out. Bring on Richards and Sabizter and Wanner for second half. Maybe Sane or Muller out too for Tolisso. This is looking past Bochum after beating Leipzig and playing Salzburg next. Plus is with long balls to noboby (ulreich here too), long shots to nowhere (Coman, Kimmich). Repeat of Gladbach. Bad sign as this could have in UCL and that would be it. Can't have these huge lazy letdowns. Still not sold on Nagelsmann since this keeps happening. He is no Hansi for sure. De ja vu!!!
