MLBPA needs to fucking break the owners. Oust Manfred as part of the new agreement.

Braves last World Champions ever.

feels GOOD

Why is Manfred to blame & not the greedy players?! These boys are paid millions to play a game for a living & can retire in their late 30s/early 40s & live a dream life.

Why should the players have to be constrained or restricted because the owners lack self control?

Because this is not a strike.

It's a lockout.

Shame, it seemed the MLB was having momentum last year of getting back to entertaining and relevance amongst the big 3 sports. They have some promising up and coming younger players and they were getting promoted. A lockout or shortened season will certainly ruin all that momentum that was built.

If the sport goes to Universal DH (that is damned near a given, I know), than the sport deserves to die.

Because the owners make billions off the backs of these guys?

Without the owners, the players wouldn’t make a dime.

That argument goes both way.
It is difficult for the average fan to be sympathetic to either the players or owners. The average Major League player makes $4.17 million per season.
