Rob Manfred continues to be the Worst thing to happen to Baseball

Hard to pick a side between millionaire players and billionaire owners, all of which are involved in the entertainment business.

So the most fair thing is to declare baseball = Dead 2 Me once again

Rendered scientifically: B = D2M

Without the owners, the players wouldn’t make a dime.

That argument goes both way.
The owners locked the players out, and, after cutting minor league jobs last year, are proposing to cut more jobs.

Players are certainly greedy in their own right, but there's about a 0.0 percent chance of me siding with the owners here.

owners want to cut costs wherever they can find them no matter the long term implications to the game (and ultimately their bottom dollar if they didn't have their head in the sand).

The last time there was a contentious negotiation, the owners did not lock the players out and the game went on without a contract in place. The players decided to strike in august, just before the playoffs when they had the most leverage. By locking out now, the only REAL baseball at risk is ST, and no one REALLY cares about ST.

Minor League players are not part of the union. That whole phase of the game has nothing to do with these negotiations.

I don't side with either side. They are both greedy.

You're a Phillies fan, so you opinion really doesn't matter.

Your daily reminder that baseball is dead.

All we have left now are the memories of a once-great game.

I was an LG guy when I was there, even had the hat.
Did they share the stadium with Doosan then too?

My BiL is in his second stint living there. Hope to go visit the summer after this upcoming one.

Yeah, pretty sure they did.

I was stationed there twice.

I'd say you're better than a grade school logical fallacy, but you're a Braves fan.
