I’ve never once owned a new vehicle. New to me is what I’ll be looking for.

Yeah that was a throw away statement. More interested in how it affects the COVID Relief application. The moratorium was lifted late last year and the tenants were served eviction notice.

Just a case of being a nice guy and getting screwed over. The newer lease was written as a remodeling labor plus $250/month rent.(yeah rents are that low in rural towns). As soon as the moratorium went into effect they quit paying. Both of the couple managed to get on disability so very little work was done.

Thankfully he has a buyer of the house lined up so the losses come to an end soon.

$250/month....wow. Our new renter just signed a lease for $2000/month.

We live in one of the lowest housing cost markets in the country. Quite a few small farm towns that have declining population and an abundance of small starter homes. The house has a market value of around $600 per month. It was my son and DIL starter home. It's been a decent investment for them as a rental until the last 18 months or so.
