Blended base today. I was pushing in piles with a loader. Sometimes I'll smooth up the roads and the spoil pile with a dozer. Sometimes I'll dig out the waste sand ponds with a long reach trackhoe. If there's a big job that needs done quick, I'll either cut out the metal or weld.

I'll save the rock trucks for the greenhorns, but we rarely run them on Saturdays. Saturdays are generally for maintenance and catching up on washed sand or blended base.

I think it more possible it was like said above…..someone knew of these and went and blasted them out.

Of course it would have meant more if private, to you or me. But nothing is done with an air of compassion and dignity anymore. The haters have taken that away.
