Last movie you watched and rating (1-10)

Deep Cover with Laurence Fishburne. 9 out of 10. Friggn' amazing movie.

Wow, movies were better back then.

I find myself shockingly in agreement.

Directed by Bill Duke, the bald, black guy who stuck Jesse Ventura's scorpion with a knife in Predator.

"I want my cake and eat it too.."

The Tinder Swindler on Netflix

not a movie but rather a documentary. We all know there are fraudsters all over the internet but this guy is on a level all his own. I’d rate it very good. Definitely worth watching.
Almost done with this now. (Break for putting the heathens to bed).

I'm almost not even mad.

Tho I have to wonder who the first tard was he scammed, like BEFORE he had others' disposable income. That broad must've been dumb as fuck. lol

Finally got around to Don't Look Up. Amusing satire. And neither the good guys or the bad guys win.

6/10

just read an news story about this guy which serves as an “update” of sorts. Won’t post anything here about it but you can easily Google it and find it.

I did, and it is fucking dumbfounding. :omg:

I Am Sam.

Sean Penn, Dakota Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer.

Solid film. Great work from Penn.

Free Guy
I guess I'd give it a 7. It was a good watch, pretty formulaic and I can't remember any one liners that will end up making this a quotable classic. But it gets a +1 since I saw it in an theater, and I do remember laughing a few times.

I'll say it reminded me of Truman Show mixed with Palm Springs/50 First Dates.
Agree with the 7 and the lack of one liners. It had a couple funny AF scenes if you play video games though.

I chuckled loudly when one of the “sunglasses guys” killed an NPC, then stood over him, dumped the rest of the clip into the dead body then started teabagging him.

And the “want to hear a joke? It involves a handicapped guy and a homosexual guy and wanting to kill a baby… I heard it from some guy who was playing…” part.

"The Kingsman"

A very enjoyable movie.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Felt like a period piece. Sound production was barely passable. Plot wasn't bad but deviated from the books too much.

All that said, I watched it straight through.

5/10

In one scene there was a “sunglass guy” in the background continuously jumping into a wall. Like he was trying to parkour. I do that all the time if I am trying to access a balcony or some area that likely has a hidden reward.

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy (first one) last night on my free 4K feed.

And it was an IMAX version that was kind of impressive. At times they were damn near coming out of the screen.

I'd not seen it all when I first watched it but had seen the second one.

I like the casting.

Watched a 4K Alien on Disney+.

Best I've ever seen it since I saw original in theatre (The Stanley) in 70 MM.

Even the sound was better than any DVD I've ever owned of it.

And no CGI creature.

The King's Man. I liked it. 7.5/10

Finally got around to watching Bond's Skyfall. Pretty entertaining 7/10

The Last Duel 7/10
Scream 6/10
The Batman 7.5/10
