EPL 2021/2022

I guess Ronaldo taking off midweek game vs City helped one could say today. Big win for United but still in trouble with games played. Spurs keep blowing make up games

At the other end of the table, Brentford beating Burnley might be safe now although they have played the most games of the bottom feeders. That win helped Leeds. Jesse Marsch 0 and 2 so far. No improvement from Bielsa, starting to look like a bad idea to take Leeds job.

Leeds had to beat Norwich and they did. Arsenal beat Leicester one of their toughies. Arsenal and Arteta in like Flint now it appears beating Leicester. Nice to see Havertz really picking it up for Chelsea now just in time fur Deutschland im November. Now that Florian Wirtz has ACL tear Havertz a huge key fur Deutschland im November.

Still pissed about getting Ronaldo'd.

Big break for Liverpool today. City held scoreless in draw vs Palace. I still say City Achillles heel is no number 9.

Won't be fun next season when Haaland is running with them.

Maybe, but... Bayern has yet to make an extension offer to Lewandowski. Are they still in the running?

Liverpool right now I would say is the best team in the world. Let Arsenal know not ready for prime time yet.

Leeds..wow! Got the red car break..but still had to score 3. Back to back for Jesse Marsch. Looking a lot better to stay up now. Marsch will sure be there next year if they do.

Spurs got a massive 3 points over the weekend and are still fully in the top 4 mix. It might all come down to the NLD whenever the league finally reschedules that game.

Spurs schedule easier than Arsenal. Need the Arsenal game in hand lost. Spurs have Liverpool and Leicester as the tough ones. Newcastle could be tricky. Could run the table other than Liverpool. Have to love their last two games: Burnley and Norwich. So if 4th by then, probably in. Arsenal have Chelsea, Man U, West Ham and a better Newcastle and always tricky Southhampton. Might need Arsenal to lose 3 since Spurs will probably lose to Liverpool or ratchet up the goal differential especially against those final two stiffs then would need two Arsenal losses. Very possible.

Arsenal's game in hand is the one vs Chelsea. Best case scenario for Spurs is for ManU and Arsenal to draw in their remaining head-to-head.

The NLD (at Spurs) has yet to be rescheduled for some reason...I assume television companies are trying to maximize eyeballs. The winner of that game between Spurs and Arsenal is really in the drivers seat for the 4th slot if form holds and everyone wins the games on paper that they should.

Sadly with Spurs, Arsenal, ManU, and West Ham, that rarely happens lol, one or all of them will lose one to someone they shouldn't.

4th spot will be close and probably go down to the wire.

You can set your watch to it!

Back in action this weekend!

Biggest games have to be in the top 4 race. On paper, all the favorites should win.

Spurs host Newcastle, who have been much better recently but "should" be a win.
ManU host Leicester who have been so up and down its hard to imagine they will be able to get anything from the game, but again ManU has been anything but predictable this year.

Arsenal have to travel to Crystal Palace. This one looks like it has the most potential for one of the favorites to drop points. I'll be keeping a close eye on it for sure.

I don't see much in any of the other games unless you're interested in the relegation battles.

Liverpool vs Man City coming up. That game is between two quarter final UCL games. Interesting, last year at this time in UCL, Leeds was the game between UCL games for Man City and they lost. Waiting for Pep's annual coaching botch to screw them out of UCL title....I hope.
