I once in a blue moon crave big mac, am always disappointed
I used to like the sausage with breakfast. Big Mac is trash, way too much bread, and those "onions" are ass.

It sounds like the cast should cook more evenly if it holds heat longer.



Otherwise, makes sense to me. Carbon basically replaces your everyday non-stick

This thread has piqued my interest regarding carbon steel pans. Think I'll check one out to take over for my non-stick

Hand wash, no soap or totally re-cure cast iron. Best way is to fill pan with wash, boil, then rinse and use a washcloth or plastic scraper if anything sticks. Easier than prepping for dishwasher

cast iron is one of the few exceptions to my dishwasher only rule.
 
ceramics are the best for cooking as far as thermal transfer and heat retention.
