We lost our first child during the birth, and kinda went off the grid fer about 5-6 years after. She would've been 16 this year.
It kinda set us back, so to say...

Still birth is terrible. I know a couple that went through that recently. Thats not a miscarriage. Glad you guys got around to bangin a couple more times.
Speaking of horrible shit. I always thought my worst fear was one of my kids getting kidnapped, and just never knowing what happened to them. Then I met a guy who lost both his young kids and wife in a car crash. 10 years later he remarried, had a son. His son died of cancer at 13, and a year later his wife died of cancer. I think he is in his 60s now, never married again, and generally a happy guy. I dont know how he is content with life. No matter how bad you think you have it, someone has had it, and is having it, unimaginably worse.
