EPL 2021/2022

Man, some of these Brentford fans should not be taking their shirts off. But they are.

Big win for Brentford. Probably will stay up. Eriksonn has been a good signing for them. But Chelsea, 4 goals to Brentford?

With Chelsea, they might be falling into the trap of having nothing left to really play for in the league. They have 3rd all but secured. Or maybe its just a 1-off game...possibly all the ownership news is a distraction? Shocking result nonetheless.

Liverpool vs Man City coming up. That game is between two quarter final UCL games. Interesting, last year at this time in UCL, Leeds was the game between UCL games for Man City and they lost. Waiting for Pep's annual coaching botch to screw them out of UCL title....I hope.

Thats the big one, probably the league title decider if one of them manages all 3 points. I'll be tuning in for sure.

Big win for Spurs! Now a full 3 points clear of ManU and edged ahead of the Gooners on goal diff.

Arsenal have a tricky one away to Palace today, so they could leap back in front of Spurs, but very possibly could drop points. Their other game in hand is vs Chelsea.

The North London Derby is still yet to be officially rescheduled, but if I were a betting man, I'd place it near the very end of the season. That one could be the 4th place playoff.

Yes the Chelsea loss not good for the game in hand with Arsenal lol. Should wake up Chelsea. Looking a lot better for Spurs now. Funny how things change. Conte just a month ago was going to resign with all the woe is me. But now, maybe Conte is the man after all. Always has been with most his teams. Italy, Chelsea, Internationale. I think Kane has bought into Conte too.

The Chelsea thing could post International blues. Seen it before with my Bayern Munich. Teams with lots of International players (Bayern all players but 1 Saturday) can look completely dead in first game after the break. Bayern looked like crap in first half but came alive in second half. Did Pulisic play for Chelsea? I know Adams didn't play for Leipzig and Reyna got a cameo only. It can be a problem. Livermore and Man City didn't overwhelm relegation fodder this weekend. Spurs were really the only big club that looked great. How many players were on International Duty for Spurs? Kane for sure.

Most all of their starting 11 was on international duty, though most also either didn't play much or had friendlies, so the intensity wasn't huge.

Pulisic wasn't even in the team for Chelsea, though truth be told, they're so deep that he's more of a squad player for them than a difference maker most of the time. From the highlights I saw, their keeper had a shocker. Mendy is normally really good. Chalk it up to a bad day at the office i guess.

Arsenal keeps the door open for everyone else!

Of course. Typical Arsenal. Back to their early season ways. 3-0. WOW! Big game flop today. Spurs are definitely looking Top 4 material now.

Sadly with Spurs, Arsenal, ManU, and West Ham, that rarely happens lol, one or all of them will lose one to someone they shouldn't.

4th spot will be close and probably go down to the wire.

You can set your watch to it!

Back in action this weekend!

Biggest games have to be in the top 4 race. On paper, all the favorites should win.

Spurs host Newcastle, who have been much better recently but "should" be a win.
ManU host Leicester who have been so up and down its hard to imagine they will be able to get anything from the game, but again ManU has been anything but predictable this year.

Arsenal have to travel to Crystal Palace. This one looks like it has the most potential for one of the favorites to drop points. I'll be keeping a close eye on it for sure.

I don't see much in any of the other games unless you're interested in the relegation battles.

I expected Arsenal to have a tough game at Palace...but I certainly did not expect them to get run off the pitch.

Spurs went from having a deficit in goal differential to a 5 goal advantage in the span of 48 hours. Incredible.

I'm sure there will be more twists and turns before the season ends. As of Saturday morning, Arsenal were in the drivers seat. Tuesday morning finds Spurs with probably a slight advantage. ManU and West Ham aren't out of it yet either.

Race for 4th is as good as its been in years.

Arsenal Spurs rescheduled game May 12.

Dead man walking from Day 1 ..... just saying.

Heard great things about him, but I'm afraid you're right. Expectations at that club are just unrealistic considering where they have been for the past several years.

Gonna be absolutely massive!

Definitely. Lose to Brighton today lol. Man U lose to a horrible Everton too. Arsenal and Man U...knucklehead central. Great day so far for Spurs.

Marsch really has Leeds on a role now. 3 in a row. Needed today's win because schedule gets tough now. Almost out relegation. Burnley just has some games in hand still.
