It won them a Super Bowl. That's what the LA Rams are known for, defense.
This is the thought I had with the Lions. They don’t have to reach for any of these QBs at any point this year.Given there were no super elite QB's in the class this year, and the Lions having 2 first round picks again next year, this makes all the sense in the world. When they do get a QB in, they'll have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL, a really good set of RB's, and the Lions have added Amon-Ra St. Brown, D.J. Chark, and Jameson Williams to their WR room. The rest of this draft should focus on defensive players, especially in the secondary. But IMO they're setting this up nicely to support a QB whenever they're able to get one.
Thib will be the biggest bust in this draft.Gonna say Aiden Hutchinson and Kair Elam will be the biggest busts in the first round. Hutchinson got manhandled by a day 3 tackle in the biggest game of his life and Elam regressed last year
In this draft you can find a QB on day 2 or 3 as easy as day 1.All the Lions need now is a QB to throw him the ball.
The top six receivers were gone before the Packers drafted at #22. Instead of reaching for a lower caliber QB in round one they went with value and will wait until later to get one. The two defensive players they drafted were quality picks.Jennings was the 4th WR drafted
Nelson was the 3rd WR drafted
Cobb was the 7th WR drafted
Adams was the 9th WR drafted
If the Packers take a WR in the 2nd and no more WR's are drafted before them, then they will take the 7th WR. if that was their plan, and considering they have the 21st pick in the 2nd round which most assuredly means at least a couple more WR's will be taken, this looks to be the wrong year to need a WR and decide to wait until the 2nd round. Especially if you have two 1st round picks.
I agree with you on that. I had Jermaine Johnson graded higher.Thib will be the biggest bust in this draft.
Taking the #7 WR with the #22 pick was not a good position to be in. No way he would be as valuable to the team as the players they got. I have no problem here. Not managing to trade up could be second-guessed but not the players drafted.Jennings was the 4th WR drafted

Just stop making sense. It doesn't become you.Taking the #7 WR with the #22 pick was not a good position to be in. No way he would be as valuable to the team as the players they got. I have no problem here. Not managing to trade up could be second-guessed but not the players drafted.

Kiper ripped it? What, upset that Tyler didn't hire his marketing firm to promote him?![]()

Hutch was drafted higher. Hutch has a zero percent chance of panning outThib will be the biggest bust in this draft.
I at least see skill and heart in Hutch. I see give up and entitlement in Thibs. I cheered his selection by the Giants.Hutch was drafted higher. Hutch has a zero percent chance of panning out

I see the heart in Hutch. I don’t see the skill. Got completely shut down by a day 3 tackle in the biggest game of his life. I see a try hard that shrinks when the moment gets bigI at least see skill and heart in Hutch. I see give up and entitlement in Thibs. I cheered his selection by the Giants.
