I work from home now. Been mostly at home since COVID, but not always. Now company going to permanent hybrid mode. I only have to go into office no more than 2 days a week. I am 60 so probably the rest of my career this way. Used to go to bars at lunch to see Bayern when FS1, but now with ESPN+ at home or office I see the game. Apps are the best for working around work for soccer. Will be watching at 1145 today though.

I'll have it streaming with my door closed

Ok! Job done tonight. Need to win the final 2 and see where the chips fall.

Good performance from Spurs. You knew Holding would get a red. Arsenal very young. Could crack like today. Even a tie helps Spurs now.

They're already thin on defense with Ben White's injury. Holding's red means he's suspended for the next game and Gabriel came off with a muscle injury. Their team vs Newcastle is going to be very interesting now.

Spurs need to take care of business vs Burnley. Do that, and I really like their chances.

Just barely but Spurs did their part. Burnley a tricky club recently.

Leeds wow. Escape with tie. Hanging by a thread. They have Brentford left and Burnley has Villa and Newcastle. I still think Burnley will snatch a point and Leeds goes down.

Hilarious and true.

Barely is right. Burnley can be very difficult if you don't score early against them. When they sit back and defend (which they always do vs Spurs), they're well organized and tough to break down.

This was always going to be a tough game for Spurs. Barely had 2 days to recover from the NLD on thursday night (and they had Liverpool away before that). Tired legs all over the place sunday. I just hope we didn't pick up any more injuries...barely have enough for a solid starting 11 anymore.

PSG can get away with it thanks to their oil money and the fact that they play in a 1-team league. Chelsea got away with it for years because Abramovic would just pump more money into the club. Even Barca and Madrid got away with it forever until their finances finally caught up to them.

The funniest one to me has to be ManU. Always spend a fortune, end up with the wrong players and/or manager, and they always pay way too much both on transfer fee and on salary.
Yep and nothing happens to them in regards to FFP. Meanwhile teams like Bolton and Bury draw the wrath of UEFA for bad finances.

Arsenal has 45 minutes of life left

2-0 now. Spurs only need a tie versus Norwich now. This is the slip up the Spurs needed and it is going to spectacularly so far. Bigger ramifications for Spurs is if they make UCL, Conte probably guaranteed to be back next season.

Pathetic Arsenal!! Just too young this season.

Massive ramifications. Conte & Kane back. Bigger transfer budget and better players to pick from. Fair chance they're able to finally sell the stadium naming rights for additional coin if/when they have champions league secured.

It does put additional pressure on Levy and Paratici to get things right over the summer, but I'm pretty sure that pressure is welcomed.

Interesting thought to ponder is what would have happened to Arsenal yesterday if they had played Spurs when original game scheduled instead of complaining to get game suspended when only one player had covid and another a hang nail. Conte didn’t forget that and let Arteta know if after the recent match when Arteta whined about everything but his own team.

Pressure definitely on Levy because Conte will do to Spurs what he did to Inter if he does see commitment. A no nonsense coach.
