After checking where it is, I once drove Hwy 6 to bypass Houston to get to Galveston.

So I can say I drove through Alvin.

But never again. The number of traffic lights is ridiculous.

There you go. I lived near Friendswood for 1 year in 1974. Never went to Alvin. Just stayed on I-45.
