GAME #1 Bama @ TX | 11CT | FOX

I was bitching that Tejas didn't take advantage, and score, of all the opportunities Bama gave them. Then, I watched the Gators lose a game in which they should have led by 21 at halftime. The same chill, uninspired offense was the culprit.
It was a shitty Saturday for sure.

Bama doesn't give up...and has great refs.

Problem is, his shin isn't touching the ground. His ankle is and part of his calf is as well. His shin isn't. If his shin was touching the ground, his knee would be too.
Are you being purposely disingenuous here? If his calf is down, he is down before he threw the ball. The statement in the meme actually says any part of the leg above the ankle. I know Young is an athletic freak, but his calf isn't below his ankle.

Are you sure we can trust a tweet from someone who doesn't know what a shin is?

The picture is the picture.

Is the rulebook definitive enough for you?

Ball Declared Dead ARTICLE 3.
A live ball becomes dead and an official shall sound their whistle or declare it dead:

a. When it goes out of bounds other than a kick that scores a field goal after touching the uprights or crossbar; when a ball carrier is out of bounds; or when a ball carrier is so held that their forward progress is stopped. When in question, the ball is dead (A.R. 4-2-1-II).

b. When any part of the ball carrier’s body, except the hand or foot, touches the ground or when the ball carrier is tackled or otherwise falls and loses possession of the ball as they contact the ground with any part of their FR-62 Rule 4 / Ball in Play, Dead Ball, Out of Bounds body, except the hand or foot ...

lol

At what point did I dispute any of that? I just pointed out that his shin wasn't down which is what the tweet said.

Why is this so important to you?
