GAME #10 OREGON DUCKS vs #19 Colorado Buffaloes 3:30 PM EST on ABC

He's making it up. When I've pressed him for details, he hasn't come up with anything.

It's basically rights to the PAC name going forward, which has very little value.

Even the PAC contract with the Rose Bowl is now off the table due to the CFP expansion to 12.

The complaint cites $42.7 million in net assets to the end of 2022's fiscal year, not including the Pac-12 Networks. A June 2022 analysis by the San Jose Mercury News estimated that the Pac-12 Network, which has broadcasted live sporting events and other athletics content for the conference for over a decade, could be worth up to $250 million.

Whether the reporting is accurate or not is difficult to determine, but it was good enough for a judge to grant a preliminary injunction.

Who are Oregon St and Washington St gonna sell the PAC 12 Network to, themselves?

It's literally impossible to get in a bundle east of the Rockies as it is now.

The PAC 12 Network is doomed. If they add 10 MWC teams it's still doomed because the MWC Network already went tits up.

You don't have to convince me, we're bailing on this shitshow. I'm just relaying the contents of their legal action.

Basically Washington St and Oregon St are ensuring one last payout season for themselves.

None of the teams that have declared they're leaving give a shit since they're getting paid where they're going anyway.

George Kliavkoff also has a say in the matter because he's under contract for 3 more years at $3.6 million/yr.

That $42 million 'in net assets' is now worth $32 million to divvy up between Washington St and Oregon St because the media rights contract expires next July.

I guess the BoD (Washington St and Oregon St) could unanimously vote 2-0 to try and fire him with cause.

Nah, parents kicked him out. He lives in apartment above grandma's garage.
Sorta like…

I called it, they need an extra reason to play - circle the wagons if you will - us against the world mentality. It only works when you’re winning. Can and does backfire badly, just ask Bo Pelini and his huge loss team collapses.

Yep lol they just look for anything to latch on to week to week. Once they lose it could come tumbling down quick.

@OregonDucks are you going to be watching this game at the local Applebee’s shoving boneless wings and riblets down your gullet?

A game this big?

Nah, his fridge is stocked up with White Claws and he's Doordashing the Applebees.
