Bullshit. He could have bEnt over and gone for a form tackle. And that means his head is lowered and leading and more of the crown. And if the qb had ducked or scrunched down… boom, the same penalty. There is literally nothing the tackler can do to avoid the penalty except NOT tackle.
He LITERALLY kept his head up instead of lowering it… like y’all argue in every other instance. Fucking weak.

Bullshit. Keep your head up and wrap up. Neither of which happened there. Or he’s on sideline, so try and push him out. Take the helmets out and you’d quickly see players change their tackling style up real quick. So don’t tell me there’s only one way to tackle a guy.

I just mostly hate the ejection part. Hit him with a personal foul and move on. Maybe hit him with a suspension if he gets a 2nd targeting or something
 
They looking for the run.. That was a dumb play call.

His head was up. His head was literally at regular juman height. At the other guys head level. Which is the dangerous thing.
Literally nothing he can do to avoid the penalty if the runner decides to put his head at the same level.
Stay up like he did: penalty.
form tackle and runner crouches: penalty
 
I wouldn’t have gone for it all there. Well. Maybe they didn’t and it just progressed that way

100% agree with that. Most of the time it’s unintentional and just bad form. They don’t eject players for roughing the passer or chop blocks. Why this is any different is dumb
