Ishmael Sopsher (USC) to the list. Former 4*, Top 50 recruit. Hasn't recorded any stats. Transferred to USC from Alabama. Had Texas offer out of HS.

He was real high on our boards over a year ago.. Good get for SC

KJ Wallace (ND) entered the portal per Pete Sampson.

QB heading to his 3rd team is a lot like a woman divorced three times. Stay the fuck away no matter how good she looks.
He handled everything at UGA with class and I still say he was the better QB. Wally Pipp'd twice though. Brittle bitch for sure, but a good teammate and a good QB when healthy.

Yeah I always thought he was the better option. But Stetson definitely earned the job.

And if I’m being honest ND would be lucky to have him. Or take the leash off of Buchner and let him run the whole damn offense.

The thing that hurt JT the most was he's not mobile like at all and this was one of the weaker o-lines we've had under Kirby, especially at the guard positions. They actually moved our beast of a starting left tackle to guard and put a true freshman(5 star) in at tackle in the second half of the NCG, and that's when the offense started showing signs of life. Bennett's legs, though nobody was gonna confuse him for Mike Vick were a huge factor in him keeping the job.

But give Daniels some protection and he can make all the throws.

Could be a nice get for USC if he can get back to 2020 form. Him along with the whole Stanford team sucked ass this year (minus the Oregon game)

Saw old UTEP QB Jordan Palmer (Carson's little bro) on Cowherd this morning. He said there are several that think a lot (if not all) of the G5 schools will turn into quasi junior colleges once the portal is in full swing. Guys that "make it" probably won't stay where they are because of NIL money.

I've seen some Mediocre starting QBs from G5 are jumping ship. I think there will be a test of "the grass isnt always greener" and things will even out after the first couple years

I don't think those mediocre G5 starting QBs (or any positions) will get any significant NIL offers or were they the type he was referring to. He was talking about the next ones like the Ben Roethlisbergers, Tony Romos, Josh Allens, etal when they were at G5s. They didn't have the options available to them like the ones now do.

Back to Jermaine Burton, one of the main reasons he’s leaving is because a 3 star freshman named Ladd McConkey was taking a lot of reps from him. I’d leave too if someone with a name like that was outshining me

I’m hearing that JTD and Jermaine Burton are considering themselves a package deal, which is pretty dumb IMO.

You take away that one huge game Burton had against Miss State in 2020, his per game stats with Daniels and with Bennett are damn near identical.

Both are good players, but Burton could land himself in a better spot if he doesn’t tie himself to Daniels

Yeah, that's what a mod said last night.. Kiffin went and visited both. Guess this means Dart is going to commit to either BYU or ou

I just don’t see Daniels as a good fit for Kiffin’s system.

Yeah Corral made it work with his legs last year.. JT just doesn't have movement, but I'm not sure what offense JT right now would thrive in. Bryce the top QB last year had to move, as did CJ..
