2022 Recruiting Thread

Lol at Georgia and their national titles.
Same amount as Oklahoma this millennium(nb4 Oklahoma retard tries to claim 2000 was the start of the new millennium)

But, scoreboard.(nb4 Oklahoma retard tries to claim moral victory because of a close score)

Culture problem, Ken's good but he talks more than he can handle. Haven't bothered to "talk trash" with OSU myself personally ever since the 4th Quarter back in 2018

Best part, CJ Hicks posted a convo with this exact same guy asking if he could put a good word in so he could get an Ohio State offer

The interesting thing is that is illegal in the state of Texas, but clearly acceptable in Oregon. Never thought about how state law would affect this, I doubt the NCAA thought about it either

What's illegal in Texas?

In Texas the law is no entity that is an affiliate or directly supports the Athletic Dept (maybe University) can enter or facilitate a NIL deal with an athlete of that school.. In Oregon Phil Knight can be a booster and sign NILs with athletes, where in Texas it is illegal

Seems like a Texas problem

None of the articles I read said anything about that. It seems odd that if McDonalds is an official sponsor, then they can't give an athlete money.

Why I brought it up. Until this deal was struck I thought everyone was on the same footing. I didn’t realize state law is actually a factor

yeah it's state to state.. I was listening to the Blitz pod and they were talking about this. I think Texas should follow but with how it's so divided with alumns from almost every institution in the house/senate.. i wouldn't hold my breathe.. They don't want to let UT and even aggy have even more pull than the other schools.
