First off has to start with wins and losses. Did you beat all on your schedule?
Second is who did you beat. You may be 13-0, but did you have a schedule like Michigan/UGA or one like Liberty.
Third should be margin of victory. If there are multiple teams with the same record, and at least similar SoS, then it should go by how bad did you beat those teams.

Probably going to be denied a chance at the championship again because of giving up a last-second score in one game.

1) When someone uses “Full Stop” I immediately picture short purple hair and problem glasses.

2) I think you can reasonably argue that FSU is not one of the 4 “most deserving” after losing their QB.
 
Texas should be in the playoff. They are the only team that would be talented enough to beat the SEC champion

Not if they win.

Same thing happened to Ohio St in 2014 and they went on to win it all. You cannot say they are not deserving if they are 13-0 when it is all said and done.

If Bama beats GA that really helps Texas get in at 4.

If GA wins and FSU wins, it’s a toss up between FSU & Texas.

If Bama wins I think GA is out. Texas beat Bama so now they have a W over the SEC Champs and that gets them in.
