He did his job, get through the lineup once. I was under the impression that the plan was for Elder to face the lineup once and then turn it over to AJSSKnew that start was too good to be true
Same way Ozuna does. But if you’re Elder, how do you even face your teammates after that?
Yea it’s bad managing. Should have never faced HarperHe did his job, get through the lineup once. I was under the impression that the plan was for Elder to face the lineup once and then turn it over to AJSS
Needs to think of his baby Mama's face when he's hitting.Also….Ozuna has had 2 opportunities in this game and has K’d both times
You confusing him with Odubel Herrera?Needs to think of his baby Mama's face when he's hitting.
Go back to the team board, don’t tard up a thread that is for every DS seriesYou confusing him with Odubel Herrera?
Which roster is he on right now?You confusing him with Odubel Herrera?
Who was out there to get though? This all goes back to the deadline when everyone in the fan base and media said we needed another starting pitcher…and AA didn’t get one.
Anybody. He banked on injured guys like Wright, Soroka, and Fried. Wright and Soroka are injured and Fried ain’t been the same and probably needs a whole offseason. Plus you had to figure a 40 year old Morton was gonna get hurt at some time.Who was out there to get though?
Montgomery was dealt way before the deadline, we were never gonna land Scherzer or Verlander and Scherzer is hurt anyways, Lorenzen really fell off a cliff after the no hitter, Flaherty has been terrible with the Orioles. Best we could have got would have been Jake Odorizzi 2.0.
Strider-Fried-Morton would have been a fine 1-2-3, but Morton isn’t available. Just be glad we get 2 guaranteed starts from Strider and potentially 2 from Fried and both on regular rest for their second starts
You’ve gotta give me a name. I would have loved to have landed Cease, but the White Sox made him unavailable.Anybody. He banked on injured guys like Wright, Soroka, and Fried.
