Who is this Joe guy on the Star's team?

Three goals in one game...wow
He’s the dude who got rocked in game one of round one and was out for the whole series. Quite the return.

Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals (Central): Joe Pavelski scores 4 goals in a loss.
Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals (Pacific): Leon Draisaitl scores 4 goals in a loss.

:surprised:

You must've loved watching the Bruins go down in flames then.

I'll be rooting for the Panthers, but probably not the Knights. Really, all the 2nd round series look good except for Devils-Canes. Expect a lot more Canada-friendly calls from the refs, even worse than the standard number the Leafs already enjoy.

Middle of the league doesn't seem like evidence of bias to me unless the Leafs are actually one of the dirtiest teams in the league. That doesn't pass the smell test for me for a team I see labeled as fast and "soft"

You're the one bitching that the refs love my team and I am the one that's crying? That is an interesting play :noidea:
Are you seriously pretending that you’ve never heard of the complaint that the Leafs get overly favorable calls?

Yeah, it takes some mismanagement to sustain mediocrity. The Leafs have obliged for decades.

I've heard of the complaint. I've heard a lot of complaints about a lot of things, hockey and otherwise. I've even heard a complaint or two from someone before that was not actually supported by the/any facts/evidence. I'm sure that you have as well.

For anecdotal evidence you have probably seen this clip from the first round. The refs took it easy on Matthews and unfairly stuck it to Stamkos on this one, I guess :noidea:

The 16th in the league that I was talking about was Toronto's league wide ranking this season in Net Penalties. I don't think that has much to do with "mismanagement" but you may not have clicked the link :noidea:

It spans literal decades, as I said. No, I hadn't seen that clip. I mostly watched the Western Conference for Rd. 1, getting home late a lot last week. When I did tune into the East, it always seemed to be Rangers-Devils or watching the Bruins go down in flames.

Oh, well if it spans literal decades that is all that I need to hear. God knows in my 40+ years hanging around shitty hockey rinks I have certainly never heard some oldtimey bullshit before that wasn't true and was unsupported by evidence :noidea:

Toronto's not a shitty hockey rink- I've been there, and it's nice. It's hosted some really shitty hockey teams over those 40+ years though. :twitch:

If you've been here you probably noticed that there's more than one hockey rink here and there have always been plenty of shitty ones

That one with all the people wearing Mitch Marner, Mats Sundin, Dion Phaneuf and Phil Kessel jerseys.

I know which one you went to, I'm just saying that there are many other rinks here where I have overheard/one can overhear complaints. And not all of them are about ice time and linemates for 10 year olds
