Larson made a mistake overdriving, and a series regular paid for Larson’s mistake. Literally every close finish in NASCAR history, especially at Darlington have came with the drivers being door to door, Larson just decided he didn’t want to take a chance not winning the race to the line

Bubba Wallace was right to do what he did last season

But if Larson is mad about that, he’s the biggest hypocrite in the world. He’s just as dirty as Chastain. That couldn’t have happened to two more deserving drivers
 
Drivers on the inside line have gone full retard over the last 2 restarts.
 
Byron was the most deserving of the drivers still in the race.
 
So Nascar Drivers are doing it all wrong.
They need to dump Chastain early in the race so he isnt there to fuck up other drivers at the end of a race.

Larson ran Chastain in the wall the restart prior. Larson is just as dirty as Chastain, and always has been. Like I said, that couldn’t have happened to two more deserving drivers.

but all Chastain does is run into people.

He will when he has a run in with the wrong guy. Hamlin has lost every feud he’s ever had, so he’s out, and Larson is no better than Chastain, so he ain’t the one.

But Larson probably wins that race easily if he just focuses on clearing Chastain instead of running him into the wall the restart prior, that gave Chastain the lead right before the caution. Then when Chastain went for payback, both were taken out. I thought it was the best possible outcome with them two mixing it up.
 
This is the first time I’ve looked forward to an All Star race in a long time.

They haven’t raced at North Wilkesboro since I was 5. I’ve watched some of the old races there on YouTube.

It’s a shame there’s no points race, but it’s a start, and if things go well, it will be on future schedules.

Was pretty poor of Bruton Smith to just let the place rot. Took a lot of work and money to get that place back in useable condition, and really and truly Dale Earnhardt Jr. gets a lot of credit for the resurrection

there was a time where they were getting rid of all the short tracks for cookie cutters (more seats) In Nascar heyday. Oh & New Hampshire. Not a cookie cutter but they bought out the other tracks so they could steal their dates.
I am always in favor of bringing back Short tracks & roadocurses & getting rid of some 2 mile & 1.5 mile tracks. Atleast knock them down to one date.
 
Sounds like Rick Hendrick is tired of his cars getting tore up too.

Hendrick echoed a similar sentiment Sunday, noting that he didn’t care that Chastain was a Chevrolet driver.

“I’ve told Chevrolet (that) if you wreck us, you’re going to get it back,” Hendrick said. “If you don’t do it, they’ll run all over you.

“I’m loyal to Chevrolet, but somebody runs over us, I expect my guys to hold their ground. I’m not going to ask them to yield just because it’s a Chevrolet.”
