2023 season thread

Brad and Joey at the front. Either a late block from Brad or a way too big of a push from Logano is gonna wipe out half the field

All in all a pretty good race for me. Got third place in the weekly pool(which is just money back, but I’ll take it, especially since the guy drawing it left off Keselowski for some reason to allow the 5th place finisher in the race to be third in the pool) and Lajoie got a nice top 5 for the season long deal.

And Logano and Blaney both finished ahead of Larson for my matchup bets and won 3 of the 4 group bets with Logano, Keselowski and Blaney(the Blaney one was a walk since all three of the others in his group crashed out)

Would have been nice if Blaney would have won, but I still netted over 200 on the race, and got some nice points for my season long deal

Think it would be awesome if Denny paid the fine.
I thought what he did was perfect!

No fine, just a 1 race suspension.

That was NASCAR’s biggest screw job IMO.

An exhibition event that NASCAR asked him to participate in to fill out the field, and they pretty well end his Cup driving career because a worn out engine he bought from Chip Ganassi was a fraction of an inch too big and he wasn’t even competitive in the race

Have Allmendinger in my season long deal, and Larson in my weekly pool.
 
Bubba Wallace eliminated me from the weekly pool with that full send. But I don’t like winning with Larson anyways. No honor in that
 
Denny spinning Larson out when Larson was trying to pit when Denny thought Larson was going after Wallace is classic Denny Hamlin. You’d think he’d learn. He’s got the short end of every feud he’s ever had

They need to limit to one attempt at a GWC on road courses. This is ridiculous, and the last one didn’t need a caution
 
Good drive for Reddick even with NASCAR trying to fuck him over with the multiple GWC finishes. Don’t really like him anymore, but I like money.

First bad race I’ve had on the season long deal, but it was bound to happen eventually and Allmendinger was a popular pick, so I’m not alone
 
Denny Hamlin gets a pit road penalty and flat out dumps a Rick Ware car. He never learns. Great driver, but he’s stupid. There’s nothing good that can come out of junking a car that’s gonna finish 5+ laps down
