2023 season thread

called it (in real life)

Said Chastain will wreck Gragson & will extend the Overtime!

Think the odds that would happen were even money LOL

Poetic justice for Gibbs to run out of gas and Busch take the W.

Literally the only way Kyle Busch could have won that race. Feels weird being happy that Kyle Busch wins

RCR has been dogshit since Harvick left. Busch steps in and already has two wins. pretty amazing how the elite drivers of the sport always seem to find a way to differentiate themselves from the rest of the pack

Yeeeaah, that one is gonna spend some time in the R&D center. Fwiw, the area around the driver is better enforced but still.
the good news is.
you cant hit the car much harder than what happened. So you know the frame did & will do its job.
It got t-boned at the fastest track in the country.

I think a lot of RCR’s post Harvick problems have been because of the drivers. Harvick was always good, but wasn’t ever really elite until 2010, he had the best 4 year run of his career to that point, then jumped to SHR where he took off even more.

Since then, RCR’s drivers have been an over the hill Ryan Newman, Paul Menard, Austin Dillon, Daniel Hemric, Tyler Reddick and Kyle Busch

Dillon wins a race about every two years on average, he’s basically a less cool Ward Burton.

Menard wasn’t terrible, but was never gonna give you more than the car would

Hemric had one of the worst rookie seasons of all time, and got the ride despite having never won a Busch or truck race at the time.

Reddick broke out last season, and impressed before then, he’s an elite talent, and now Busch already has two wins this season.

RCR had signed an established great driver that wasn’t washed up probably since Dale Earnhardt Sr prior to signing Busch.

The Hack is out this week.

Please don’t bring him in the booth. My hatred of all things HMS aside, even the biggest of HMS fans would have to agree that he has the most annoying voice in the history of mankind

Here’s the wreck where Bowman got hurt. Sprint car.

Out 3 weeks.

yep that final flip & sudden stop in a sitting position is how you damage your L1 vertebrae.
I landed on my ass & it put me out of work for 3 months.

Funny. If you watch the wreck it looks like the other guy had the more dangerous ride. But a lot of drivers have had spinal injuries from that simple flop Bowman did. Sudden stops are way more dangerous to the body than the rolls.

Gonna go ahead and assume it’s gonna be a Monday race. Would be smarter to have a double header tomorrow, but we know that ain’t gonna happen

Happy for Truex.

Glad I didn’t get my bets in on time. Would have definitely better on Hendrick at Dover.

Took a hit in the season long deal, and wasted a Kyle Larson selection

Get ready for the 43 being a Toyota next season. Legacy is switching. Assuming that means the GMS truck team will as well

Oh, and Kevin Harvick and Jimmie Johnson are the only two drivers in NASCAR history with more wins than DNFs.

Just another reminder that Harvick is a top 10 all time driver

I just can't cheer for a yota. We all saw what JGR did to Furniture Row when Truex was making them look like shit.
