Has anyone seen Chase or Rick speak on this?

I can’t imagine Rick is happy right now, and now that the dust has settle and he has no plausible deniability, I’d like to see what Chase has to say.

He’s always been a petulant little turd. Now that he finally has some consequences for his actions, maybe he’ll be a better man for it. I decided I didn’t like him despite being a hometown boy after I saw the way he got his first truck series win

So Hamlin and Busch shouldnt have been DQ'd that day? They didn't even appeal the penalty, so obviously then knew they broke the rules.

No, they shouldn’t have. Gave them zero competitive advantage and that just shits all over the legacy of guys like Junior Johnson and Smokey Yunick. If Chase was any kind of a man, he would denounce that “win”

Did he accept the check? Does he count it towards his win total?

Did he acknowledge that him being in third is the only reason it happened?

He didn’t denounce it. “Nobody wants to win that way” isn’t saying the win shouldn’t count

You have some ridiculous takes. No one in that garage is going to turn down a win by DQ.
 
Chase Elliott represents everything wrong with modern NASCAR. I don’t know how he ever got such a big fanbase after the way he got his first truck win

Last year when he spun out on purpose in Fontana to try and influence the outcome of the race, why didn’t Hendrick get the same penalty MWR did when Bowyer did the same thing?

Only reason Chase Elliott is suspended is because NASCAR backed themselves in a corner when they wrongfully suspended Bubba Wallace. They knew the cries of racism would have been coming loud and with merit had they not suspended Chase. You know good and damn well they didn’t want to

We’ll never know. Chase is the only Cup driver to a win that way in my life time. And he handled it like the bitch he’s always been

Yeah, the one where he threw a tantrum at Larson’s self clear late block and spun himself out to bring out a caution to try and screw Larson.

He’s a petulant little turd. I’ve been saying it since his first truck series win. I think more now see the light on Chase after 600. A silver spoon kid that has never shook his spoiled brat attitude
