GAME 2024/2025 Season Game Thread

Excellent win over Texas to start the season. I like the makeup of this team.

Lot of good guards.

A few of them have been relatively inefficient at their previous teams.

But if being surrounded by multiple equally talented options helps them all get more efficient shots this year. Watch out.

Last night was a great start to that.

Auburn vs Houston is incredible

Usually playing against good teams right off the bat can have rust. This is a legit final 4 game in the first week of November right now

This Auburn team has serious juice.

North Florida goes to 2-0 against power conference schools with a 105-93 win over Georgia Tech

Still have UGA, Nebraska and UF on the schedule. They've jumped like 120 spots in KenPom in 7 days. Pretty remarkable.

Had SIUE pegged as my OVC favorite, but even they've been performing better than I thought.

Interesting on who has performed best relative to their KenPom preseason ranking.

Whistle fest in San Diego so far.

Gonzaga takes down San Diego State. Gonzaga already with 2 Q1 wins and a likely Q2(ASU?). They didn't have their first Q1 win last year until February.

Umm, if people gamble I’d take a big look at Purdue tonight.

I actually feel decently confident in winning assuming TKR doesnt dominate the paint or they shoot ungodly from 3.

But the spread is -5/5.5 everywhere right now that’s insane.

This is a -1.5 MU pick em home court boost game. 5.5 is insane ML value for purdue

Marquette takes down Purdue. Marquette putting together quite a strong resume already with likely 2 Q2 wins.

Alabama vs Illinois will be fun to watch tonight.

I think Bama bounces back and wins pretty easily at home. They are too good not to.

But still interested to see Illinois and how they play. They have lots of talent but lots of questions. And this is their first real test. Less about result and more how they look to me.

Bama over Illinois. Fun up and down game.
