2024 College Football TV Ratings

These aren't all that great TBH. If ESPN wants to maximize ratings the Semis need to be on NYD.

those are still great based on when they were aired.. Thursday and Friday nights. Obviously would be better on the weekend however they don't want to go head to head with the NFL.

Yeah, I get they don't want to compete with the NFL, but still there was no competition on either night, and these are like 4 of the biggest 6/7 brands in the sport.

That, or have th CFP 1st round the same weekend as Army/Navy. Either way the games are moved up a week.
They've changed a lot in college football over the last couple of decades. Lost a lot of traditions.

Army/Navy must have their own day to themselves.

At most you can do Thur/Fri, or Fri/Sunday or something like that, but THAT Saturday must remain for them.

All hell would break loose if they ended that tradition.

They get the cfp leadin. Shouldnt hurt ratings.

Moving to week 0 allows for navy/army to move up a week also

yeah man but it was on a thursday and friday night.. school is back in session.. I missed a majority of the first half Thursday due to my daughters bball game. People work.. it's not fair to compare it to NYD or NYE because majority of people have those days off.

It's not about ratings. It's about honoring the football players that will end up going into harms way to preserve our freedom.

It's the one thing bigger than ratings and income.
Should the heisman move off that day as well since they are encroaching?

No. And I don't think anyone cares about FCS or any other non FBS match ups either.

The top tier of football belongs to Army/Navy on the last official day of the regular season. Period. Stop. No discussion needed.

So then move the season up a week and its a moot point

they should play Army/Navy on Veterans day
