Final tabulation.

Hunter over Jeanty 2231 - 2017

1 and 2 were close.
3-10 were lightyears out.

Jeanty won the Far West Region, but only by a narrow margin 357 - 354.

I really thought that Jeanty would win it. Hunter getting it is deserved also. I will say that I haven't watched the Heisman in years.

Hunter deserved it what he did the last two seasons on both sides of the ball was pretty incredible.

Jeanty won the fan vote. You know the people that actually watched football

Barry Sanders is the only one of the Top 4 single season rushing leaders to win the Heisman.

Melvin Gordon (2014) was 2nd to Marcus Mariota (QB). Mariota beat him 2534 - 1250.
Kevin Smith (2007) was 8th to Tim Tebow (QB). The runner up to Tebow was Darren McFadden (RB) 1957 - 1703.

Jeanty would have probably had to push (if not beat) Barry's record to get the edge over Hunter.

Ya he might have been able to if he hadn’t sat out the 2nd half of a few games. I just found it interesting they announced that Jeanty had won the fan vote. It’s all good, I’m all for athletes that play both sides of the ball.

That's saying something considering Colorado got a lot more tv exposure than Boise St did.

Just 131 yards from Barry's record. I'd have to think if he'd beat it he wins the Heisman, but still close.

BSU doesn’t have “the brand”. Just glad I got to see him play here.

What is the point of still having the Heisman if Hunter can win it over Jeanty? Kudos to Hunter for playing both ways but dude isn’t a top 10 WR or CB in CFB and Jeanty is by far the best running back in the sport.

6th in receiving yards
2nd in TDs
Projected top 5 pick

“Not top 10” Cmon now

What Colorado 'brand' do you refer to?
ESPN was pushing the Heisman week 1 when North Dakota state was running it right down their throat the entire gm
