2024 Heisman Trophy Ceremony 8pm ET ESPN.

I feel bad for Jeanty but this is just one of those random seasons in which he had to go against a guy like Hunter whose athleticism is off the charts and is pretty much dominating on both sides of the ball. We’ve never seen a player like him before and I’m seeing a lot of mock drafts with him going #1. In most seasons Jeanty would have been the runaway winner but at the end of the day I think the right guy won. Congrats to Hunter. I’m happy for the kid. He deserves it and I nearly lost my chit when he started rapping 6 foot, 7 foot to Wayne during his acceptance speech.

6th in receiving yards
2nd in TDs
Projected top 5 pick

“Not top 10” Cmon now
He’s not a top 10 WR in the game. I’m assuming you think Army is better than Bama too

Projected top 5 pick because he is going to play one spot.

You said he wasn't top 10 wr or cb in cfb. Besides your clear dislike for the guy, what makes you say that? I gave you the stats. He is top 10 in production and probably the most athletic guy in the country. He was dominant on both sides of the ball. Don't be absurd.

You can want Jeanty to win without making shit up about Hunter. He was clearly a top 10 receiver in college football this year.

What is the point of still having the Heisman if Hunter can win it over Jeanty? Kudos to Hunter for playing both ways but dude isn’t a top 10 WR or CB in CFB and Jeanty is by far the best running back in the sport.

Well the award is 'Best player in CFB', not best player at a position.

Desmond Howard wasn't the best receiver in 1991. He was actually 12th in receiving yards.

Don't want to make it sound like I'm a Travis Hunter hater cause I'm not. I've said before he is an amazing player, however, he has no business winning the biletnikoff AND bednarik. He is very good at both but I don't think the best at either

Statistically overall, he was top 10, but didn't even lead the nation in even one category. Surely did not deserve the Biletnikoff nor the Bednarik considering there were guys both at WR and on defense who were better. The problem with him winning the Heisman is that he only won because he played both ways, which is something dozens of guys in CFB could undoubtedly do but aren't concerned with being a jack of all trades. Jeanty was unquestionably the biggest difference maker in the nation. Swapping him and Hunter, BSU is likely 9-3 maybe while Colorado has a first round CFP bye. There's a reason Jeanty won the fan vote.

That’s fair. The fan vote was a complete blowout. 68% for Jeanty and 23% for Hunter although I’m sure some of that is partially due to Jeanty’s likability factor compared to Hunter’s and Colorado’s current non-likability for many if not most fans.

Then why didn’t Sanders win the trophy. He was impressive with that shitty line. Best player is also subjective. Any rationale person would rather have Jeanty on their team over Hunter. Unless Hunter chooses one position to play
