Id rather have Michigans current season than Ohio states. It put to the test whether beating Ohio state was more important than a championship; answer. It is. I wouldn’t swap spots for the world. This is great. Ohio state winning just makes our win even better. A win that will be talked about historically for the rest of this rivalry.

I absolutely would. Beating Ohio state > national title > big ten > Michigan State. Last year the national title was just gravy on top of beating Ohio. Because you know if you win this, buy that little national title hat and see a guy wearing a block M. They’re going to snicker at you rather than divert their eyes.

I get it, this is the only position you can take because you can’t beat us. But yes. Id rather beat Ohio state than win a title. 1-11 for all I care. I said this well before even last year. I can go dig it up sometime. I can confidently say I would not want to switch positions.

UW beat Oregon twice last year on their way to the 4 team playoff and it was sweet AF, but had they lost one and ended up winning the title and hoisting the banner and housing the trophy it would have meant much more.

Two springs ago, well before Michigans title. We had a 2 game streak against Ohio state. Had a loaded team poised to potentially win a title that upcoming year.

I think everyone hates it.

There is no sense of school or even team anymore. Players jumping into the portal the moment the season ends to try to grab more cash. Coaches actively recruiting off of other teams even during the season trying to lure them in.
