Nebraska Cornhuskers 2024 Recruiting Thread (Commit list in OP)

Pretty big deal here... Nebraska needed a run stuffing LB

Nebraska receiving a visit from a Miami linebacker commit this weekend as well... so far here's who I know that's on Campus:

1. Dylan Raiola (5-Star, QB) [Buford, GA]
2. Blye Hill (Transfer Portal, DB) [St. Francis] - FCS level school, Hill is a ranger DB that could come in and compete right away. I've seen him get some run online as a sleeper in the portal.
3. Vincent Shavers (3-Star, LB) [Miami, FL] - Current Miami commit but Miami is on a tear right now and expected not to honor his commitment.
4. Dylan Williams (4-Star, LB) [Long Beach, CA] - Current Oregon commit... this one is interesting. Don't feel like Oregon is moving on but they've been adding in the portal. Obviously anyone Lanning likes at LB is worth a shot at.

There may be others on campus that I am not aware of but this is it for now.

No, but I know Brook's character (hindsight is 20/20).

I don't know what Kaelin's thinking.

Danny's been through the ringer, kid has been through a lot and constantly over shadowed by Raiola and the fact that he's gonna stay is pretty amazing. Great kid and I'm very happy for him to be Husker. Whatever happens I hope he gets an opportunity to play and does well at Nebraska at some point.

It's a sure thing he's staying N? I hope so.

I do need to see a decommit from Dylan before I'll believe he's N.
One ain't happening without the other.

Totally get the hesitation, I have it too, but Dylan is in Lincoln currently and I know that the Husker staff feels VERY confident that a commitment will be happening sooner rather than later. When it is announced, I do not know, I do know that Georgia's staff is no longer considering him a commitment if that helps. But I also understand that believing is seeing and we haven't REALLY seen anything yet.

As for DK - He is solid N... just a reminder that I reported it here first before Sean Callahan did on On3... haha

@footballnut I know the instagram post was fake. But a lot of smoke about Casey now

Yeah... I'm not sure what to make of it. If you want my general opinion it is that Casey wants to be a coach and might not want to play ANOTHER season in college football and could be starting as a GA here. I have no info, but that makes the most sense to me.
