I wouldn't say that (Michigan outrecruiting OSU) -- what Michigan has done by beating OSU the last two years is make head way into the state of Ohio for recruiting, which we haven't had in a while. Now if Bryce West, who has visited UM multiple times, chooses UM over OSU -- that'd be worrisome.

Michigan seems to be swooping in early on guys who might feel like they are "Plan Bs" for Ohio State. Smart as they'll end up with some good players and they wont be there if we whiff on national guys. That's the shits of taking a more national approach it definitely alienates some of the local kids.

There seems to be a meltdown now every time we miss on a recruit lol.

Marshall is a good prospect but you'd think Michigan beat us for a generational recruit the way some fans act.

We finished with the #5 class in the composite last year and you had fans acting like the sky was falling and we were slipping to Indiana levels because we missed out on a few SEC country guys.

I wouldn't say "big" loss. If we strike out on other RBs, yes. But I don't lose much sleep on missing out on a RB, we seem to always find a guy. If it was a top OL or something of sort i'd be concerned. It is a nice get for Michigan though. I'll give them that.

We are recruiting him for RB #2.. Apparently Jerrick Gibson (#1 RB) is a silent to UT, which is why he has so many CBs/Forecasts to UT.

But from everything we are hearing through our $9.95ers.. he's looking to be heading towards the SEC.. so if he's your guy, good luck, gonna need it.

Nebraska has a big recruiting weekend coming up, unlike any weekend we’ve seen before. 5 top 50 recruits including 3 5 stars, 28 total recruits with just shy of a 4 star average. Not Alabama or OSU recruiting numbers but this is pretty unprecedented. If we can manage to convert it could be a pretty special recruiting class even if we don’t end up with the crown jewel in Raiola (who I think we have a much better shot with than most are giving us credit for).

Whats also crazy is texas isn't really in on the top 10 players in texas. OU is taking the top 2 players in texas in Wesco and Black. Hudson to either Bama or Georgia. Bussy and Simmons to LSU. Lagway to Florida. Watkins to LSU. and Tatum to Michigan.

Have no idea about Wesco.. he's legit, but they aren't on him.. put all their eggs in the Hudson basket.. Simmons has picks to LSU but those were earlier.. UT is up there now but tbh I think Bama has the edge, but it's really early still. He was in Austin flashing hookem in the capital earlier this week and is visiting this weekend too..

Staff likes Bussey on defense and right now, he's telling everyone he's a WR..

I'd bet money that UT winds up with Black and Hudson.. I'm not there yet with Collins but check back with me in July after his OVs

Think thats old. He is 100% crystal balled to OU. Emmett Jones has a knack for these guys. What you posted is showing him a 4 star and he is clearly a 5 star as the #1 player in texas and #3 wr over all.

I heard Hartline finally got around to looking at his tape recently, so he'll probably end up at OSU if we think he's good enough.

this was a tweet from on3 earlier this afternoon.. On3 has him as a 4 star.. i think 247 is the only one that has him in the 5 star echelon..

you mean.. a ou "lean" might actually end up elsewhere??

BTW the kid seems to be really good.. In January a recruiting insider on surly was talking about how recruiting evaluators felt he was actually better than Micah Hudson. For whatever reasons, probably the late hire of the new WR coach, UT seems really late to the party.. so I know it won't work out with us. Good luck, although Hartline seems to have a knack of getting what he wants without luck lol

Think Sammy Brown is Clemson or UGA. I'd lean Clemson today. PT at UGA at ILB isn't easy to get.

Depends on how many rb's OU takes. 2 for sure maybe 3. I think they take Mizell and Durham for sure. Not sure after that.
