I don't think that is going to happen, but evidently he has stayed in touch with the coaches all weekend and was texting on the UGA commit text list. That's kind of wild.

I will tell you that Smart is notorious for not burning bridges. What would piss off the normal person - Raiola's last minute bailing - rolls off Smart's back. For that reason we've had success with kids coming back to UGA when they transferred.

I still think you get him in the end.

Kaelin is N, Mizzou doesn't have room for him even if he wanted to bolt.

I am 90% confident Dylan is in as well. As for Dylan's supposed conversations with Georgia staff, that could be concerning, but I don't think it is as this point.

But that doesn't discount that CKS is known for not burning bridges. By the way, mature coaches also do that. It's the immature ones that don't.

Nope, not what I have heard. Now whether we want in on that will depend on whether he has matured.

We are going to take a guy from USCjr who had some attitude issues. And we took Smoke Bouie and that didn't work out. Point still stands ... he doesn't burn bridges with most recruits.

They weren't "supposed" but I still think you guys get him at this point. If you think about it, it's logical he was talking to them. If he is doing all his due diligence, and I will assume he is, you would expect there to be conversations if for nothing else to confirm NIL numbers.

It's technically illegal to contact recruits while on official visits to other schools. From what I have gleaned, the conversations were not with Georgia's staff per say but with UGA recruits in a group chat. He apparently did chat with Kirby at some point and ask a few questions. I think the biggest questions revolve around NIL and Beck coming back... Beck announced that he is coming back today... I don't think that announcement is coincidental in timing right before signing day.

First congrats. Second, I’m sure it was all back channel, but the was communication. No one thought it would change the ultimate outcome, but it would be malfeasance for his agent to not be in touch with UGA.

Lyle officially flips to Miami. Another end of the recruiting season flop job for Ohio state the final month the past few years has not been kind.
