2024 Recruiting Thread

QB and WR were great for this class

CB - Great haul

Safety - Wishy washy, we whiffed on all of our major target and ended up with a lower 4* and a 3* project. I guess they are counting Garrett Stover as a Safety right now tough, not sure that sticks, but I do like him a lot.

I'll still call RB good, even though we lost Lyle, Peoples is a strong back.

OL meh, Ian Moore is a good grab but the rest are development prayers, I know OL is the hardest to project but it would be nice to finally win some battles for elite level OL recruits.,

TE - 2 decent prospects. I'll call it a win.

DL is pretty much a total loss. Only 1 and it's a development project 3*

LB we only took one and Pierce is a nice get for only taking one.

When is Houston scheduled to announce?

lol word is Tatum is not signing today.. gonna wait til February 👀
He's the only one left that's not in. Really his only other interest was USC and can't see him going there now. Has to be about $$$.

another Florida flip..

Despite all the late drama, this turned out to be a very good class.

Wish we had a few more DL but keeping Houston is massive. I think especially at DL we need to start laying off the guys who seem like they are likely to chase the bag in the end (Like Scott) that tends to never go well for us and we get left hanging. Bring in a solid 4* instead who you can work with and isn't going to ditch us at the last minute.

I can't imagine the NIL money to incoming freshmen is gonna last. It's still pretty new so donors are trying to buy their teams back to relevancy in some cases but eventually I gotta imagine it's gonna end up with the more proven players already on campus

Florida is the biggest loser today. Dropped from the top 10 to outside the top 15

It's NSD and Colorado still has just 6! HS commits'. Deion sure is a revolutionary innovating the game there!

It's liable to be 5 soon too if Seaton flips.
