Sure? The coverage will be blasted, almost sickeningly so, with lavish Connor McDavid praise. The only saving grace is that I don't have to see or hear Pierre McGuire's stupid face for the rest of the playoffs.

The time I spend watching Finals games will include muted sound. The McDavid suckfest will be nauseating. And if he wins the Cup I'm gonna blacklist NHL media until October (with the brief exceptions of the draft and start of free agency).

Yeah, they certainly could've used some of last year's playoff production out of him this year. Maybe chalk it up to 'ebbs & flows' or maybe he simply ran out of gas this year. He's not the only key Star to come up short in the playoffs this year, though; they needed more out of Duchene and Hintz, too.

It has been excruciating listening to the McDavid crap all season, the All Star weekend was the worst so far IMO. They are clearly trying to push him as the face of the NHL, and the "skills" challenge, which he designed, were a complete joke, I for one loved Kucherov doing it all less than half ass.
