It's always been kinda bullshit. It's really just about chances of success. The chance a #1 prospect turns into an All American is just many times greater than the chances of a 3 star doing it. I remember when Michigan got Shae Patterson via a transfer and I thought that was going to finally be our moment. #1 QB in the class? Here we go! lol I'm kinda leary of Bryce Underwood for the same reason. The amount of hype surrounding him seems like there's simply no way he doesn't disappoint next year on some levelIm getting leary of recruiting ranking honestly. I'm as excited about this class as any. A couple years ago OU got the #1 QB Arnold and #1 RB Tatum and neither have done a thing. Just give me some dudes and not pre madonnas.
