interesting. I would give Judkins the bulk of the carries, but try to get Henderson more involved in the passing game
It'll be a true 1-2 punch (assuming Trey comes back). Trey is the more explosive back while Judkins is more of the grinder. Should be fun to see how they use them.

Day should also be trying to give Howard his share of designed runs, at least against better teams. That could be a pretty strong running game

Yeah no doubt, that will be nice to see again.

Congrats on the big win though, this has to feel great for you guys. It's been an interesting run under Harbaugh, now at least if he leaves he can do it on good terms.

Thanks man. Yeah, I can't really complain if this was the final game for him. At least there seems to be an obvious replacement in Moore.

Losing Minter is gonna suck, though I do like what should be returning on defense next year.

Not if he goes to the Eagles

It would be nice to see again but will Day actually adapt and change his shit run schemes that he loves to run?

Henderson is dumb to comeback.. this is a weak RB class and if anything he can kill it in the 40 yard dash at the combine.. He has had injuries throughout his 3 years at tosu.. Coming back isn't going to vault him into day 1.. he's still be a day 2 pick.

He did it for 2 years with Fields. I think the thing with Howard is he's not afraid to take off and run when need be. He's also a massive QB so that'll come in handy in short yardage, as will grabbing a RB like Judkins.

He was healthy his whole first year and was a monster. Last year he was hurt but was rushed back too soon, and it was a broken bone in his foot so nothing major. This year his only real injury was a cheap shot from a ND player that hurt his ribs. It's not like he's had anything nagging.

Having the QB run threat with 2 dynamic RBs should help the OL as well. It has to be executed right though. That slow developing shit that never works and the pitches/jet sweeps to the short side of the field better fucking be out of the playbook this year.

I think having an experienced run threat QB to go with those two will make a huge difference. He seems to be a perfect fit for our offense, and will be a great bridge to Linc or Air.

this makes his decision even more perplexing

This year's first round is insanely deep with QBs, DBs, and along the lines. There won't be a RB taken first round this year. If he comes back and has a huge year, he has a way better chance of being a first rounder, plus the money at OSU is going to keep him plenty happy.

lol he's not gonna be a first rd RB next season man lol

I get why you would want him to return as a tosu fan.. but i'm looking at the overall picture of going pro.

at the end of the day it's his decision and i'm happy for him, I just don't get it lol

Why not? He's evidently the #1 RB on many early boards, and he didn't even have a huge year this year. If he comes back fully healthy and has a big bounceback, why couldn't he be a first rounder? Not that I think drafting RBs in the first round is smart to begin with, but it usually seems to happen most years.
