WOW! There are still college football games being played on PPV?!?!? Is this 2003 or 2020? I remember getting college football games regionally, but if you wanted non regional games, you'd have to pay for PPV.

ABC would air like 4-6 UCLA vs 5-5 Washington on the west coast, meanwhile on ABC elsewhere it was #4 Oklahoma playing #12 Colorado and if you wanted to watch OU/CU you had to PPV.
 
That is what the SEC Channel early morning games are for.

I think there might have been 1 Auburn game not televised in the last 4 years.

With two major programs not playing this season, this is a money grab by OU because a network would carry it.

u know they could have had agreed to a conference network too.. but they were "already working on something else"..

Oh well I'm sure husker fans can now tune into the BIG network and tune to all of it's classic games for free

We pay for the crappy games anyway. I'd never pay for Illinois vs Purdue ala carte but I have to pay for it in order to get Ohio State vs Michigan. The almighty "bundle" they call it.
 
According to the ESPN College Sports Radio Channel, there were plenty of traditional TV slots available for the game on the ESPN and Fox family of networks, but OU chose to screw their fans anyway with PPV.
