7 Michigan State players charged in post game brawl, one with felonious assault.

Michigan State should sue Michigan for not keeping Michigan State Players from committing felonies? Interesting. I would love to see how that lawsuit is written.
It's 5,000 pages long. You'll have to file the lawsuit to find out whats inside...

Right?

SMH.

I get it. But I think Michigan should be called out for being giant pussies.

Damn… Feel like you should have to do something really fucked up to face legal consequences for sports fights. I can see swinging a helmet reaching that territory. But still, damn.
Just 6 games for this stud

Doesn't negate what I said, thanks
Think what you want. The day I feel the need to explain myself to anyone on a silly sports forum, I hope someone sodomizes me with a samurai sword.

I think charging athlete's for anything that occurs during a game/at a sporting event needs to have a MAJOR bar that needs to be met.

I was genuinely surprised seeing these boys were charged. You have two fuckheads from Michigan hotdogging in the hallways after a HUGE rivalry game. They fucked around and found out and now want to play victim.

Pussies indeed, but we've known that for ages though. The kinds of people who go to UM are arrogant and weak. They produce a ton of scUM bags.

The grass fairies have contaminated this thread I see :L @ralphiewvu unless you're a scouser, you're a bandwagon plastic too

Why don't we just call every victim a pussy?

Dont play dumb amigo
If you want to call 2020 Wolverines for not showing up to play a bunch of pussies, I have no issues with that. When you are attacked with a weapon (helmet), after the game is over, you are a victim.

The guy who ran up the tunnel does so every single game. He usually does it with his twin brother, as they get dressed early so they can leave as soon as the coach talks to the team, so they can spend time with their family as they leave that night to go home. His brother stayed behind to talk to a friend on the MSU team this time or he would have been there too.

And there is video of it all from ESPN, CBS, UM security cameras -- It was investigated by the Michigan State Police (as in the state of Michigan, not MSU, though they were involved in the investigation too). They turned their findings over to the Prosecutors office who filed the charges.

The guy on UM that was hit with the helmet and suffered a cut over his eye and a concussion will make more money from this than he did off all his NIL deals in college.

Green said the brothers typically head up the tunnel quickly after a game, so they can make a fast exit after Harbaugh speaks to the team, and they can visit with their family.

I'm all for rivalries and smack talk, but the video showed it all. The guy who was jumped weighs 175 lbs. You think THAT is who is going to go on a mission by himself, to take on the MSU team.:pound:

If this was a he said/she said deal -- I'd 100% call BS on the story, but the cameras caught it all, from every angle, as did the MSU staff, the security team in the hallway, all who were interviewed by police. It was so blatant, the prosecutor decided on a felony charge. Zero chance they do that if they didn't have it all on tape.

Maybe I am misremembering, but the dudes ran through MSU in a taunting fashion.

I see what your saying new phone, but I find it hard to believe the player in question runs through the opposing team after every home game to see his dad. I bet that occurs after they’ve left or before. Not during.

So why would it change during rivalry week, if no other reason cause you’re riding high after a big win and want to hotdog in front of Sparty.

Sorry I don’t feel sympathy but also don’t condone any of the violence. Criminal charges though…………….

Volt in fired up for The Game this weekend. If I have a shot to call Michigan pussies, arrogant, and weak I am going to take it!

Meant no offense to you though

And I really do believe both sides have some blame to take. I’ve just never seen an opposing player run through the enemy team. There was no good reason for them to be there.

Both of them head up early after home games, the guy attacked has a twin brother on the team, he wasn't with him as he stopped to talk to a RB from MSU he is friends with.

As far as the criminal charges -- normally I'd be 100% on your side if it were only fists being thrown. Once a guy who outweighed the player by 75 lbs held him while a guy swings his helmet at him -- I don't feel bad at all for those being charged. I think all those with the misdemeanors will end up with plea deals. The guy swinging the helmet is going to have a well deserved criminal charge on his record.

The majority of the games -- the teams walk off intermingled. It isn't the norm for teams to hate each other.
