7 Michigan State players charged in post game brawl, one with felonious assault.

Volt in fired up for The Game this weekend. If I have a shot to call Michigan pussies, arrogant, and weak I am going to take it!

Meant no offense to you though

And I really do believe both sides have some blame to take. I’ve just never seen an opposing player run through the enemy team. There was no good reason for them to be there.
Offense is warranted ... that is the fun of THE GAME!!!! We are the greatest rivalry in sports.

Both of them head up early after home games, the guy attacked has a twin brother on the team, he wasn't with him as he stopped to talk to a RB from MSU he is friends with.

As far as the criminal charges -- normally I'd be 100% on your side if it were only fists being thrown. Once a guy who outweighed the player by 75 lbs held him while a guy swings his helmet at him -- I don't feel bad at all for those being charged. I think all those with the misdemeanors will end up with plea deals. The guy swinging the helmet is going to have a well deserved criminal charge on his record.
I'll concede the helmet swinger
The majority of the games -- the teams walk off intermingled. It isn't the norm for teams to hate each other.
News to me, I guess that will be shut down for good in the future after what happened.

Think what you want. The day I feel the need to explain myself to anyone on a silly sports forum, I hope someone sodomizes me with a samurai sword.

The guy who ran up the tunnel does so every single game. He usually does it with his twin brother, as they get dressed early so they can leave as soon as the coach talks to the team, so they can spend time with their family as they leave that night to go home. His brother stayed behind to talk to a friend on the MSU team this time or he would have been there too.

And there is video of it all from ESPN, CBS, UM security cameras -- It was investigated by the Michigan State Police (as in the state of Michigan, not MSU, though they were involved in the investigation too). They turned their findings over to the Prosecutors office who filed the charges.

The guy on UM that was hit with the helmet and suffered a cut over his eye and a concussion will make more money from this than he did off all his NIL deals in college.
Your last paragraph is the reason for this. All about the Benjamins.

I think the fact the guy suffered a concussion and a cut that required stitches over his eye is why that is happening. Not to mention, the guy ran up the tunnel to try and help suffered a broken nose after he was kicked in the face.

I think if this had been a normal one on one fight with fists -- it would have been a whole lot of nothing. This was 5, 6, 7, 8 on 1. I can definitely see the MSU athletic department director who was standing right next to it getting sued. Instead of stopping it -- the guy ran away...........on video. The Security officers hired by the school did nothing.

He is going to get paid.

Why don't we just call every victim a pussy?

If you want to call 2020 Wolverines for not showing up to play a bunch of pussies, I have no issues with that. When you are attacked with a weapon (helmet), after the game is over, you are a victim.
Because not every victim is a pussy, this is an incident where a dude is a dumbass, and acting like a victim is a pussy move.

Attacked at a 10-1 ratio. At least one of the attacker was using a helmet as a weapon. I’d say the attacker was the pussy.

I think charging athlete's for anything that occurs during a game/at a sporting event needs to have a MAJOR bar that needs to be met.

I was genuinely surprised seeing these boys were charged. You have two fuckheads from Michigan hotdogging in the hallways after a HUGE rivalry game. They fucked around and found out and now want to play victim.

Pussies indeed, but we've known that for ages though. The kinds of people who go to UM are arrogant and weak. They produce a ton of scUM bags.
I agree and I believe taking a helmet and bashing someone in the head with it meets that bar.

Whether they are talking shit or not is not a concern of mine. I’m sure the MSU players were talking shit the last two years. If you lose a rivalry game, you eat your shit and use it as tackling fuel.

Really???

It's been almost 3 years since they have beaten UM in a football game. OSU fans are at their wits end. Just wait til they lose tomorrow.
You know what’s about to happen tomorrow
