Exactly. He learned from Harbaugh's legal team!
No process has been expedited. Michigan has yet to receive any notice from the NCAA other than an investigation has been opened.1. you are wrong. 2. bad enough for them to expedite the process.
When you know someone is actively cheating you dont continue on as if nothing happened. I think the B1G was soft on MI. The OC and DC both benefited from this cheating.
No delusion. Other fans will soon see what they've unleashed with this. They make medications for people with this kind of delusion. Seek help.
If you'd like to know why the last two years UM has been better. The first school in NCAA to win back to back OL of the year. They changed their DC and OC. 2021 Mike McDonald DC (now the DC of the #1 defense in the NFL). Jesse Minter 2022-2023 DC also from Baltimore Ravens exact same system as McDonald. Sherrone Moore 2021-2023. OC.Since they were caught cheating the last 2 years how can you say for sure? I saw MI and what they did before they cheated, during their cheatin ways and OOC. The numbers dont lie. They needed that cheatin to win. The bowl record proves that.
Always so wrongNo process has been expedited. Michigan has yet to receive any notice from the NCAA other than an investigation has been opened.
So your argument is that Michigan benefitted so greatly from this, the odds for Michigan games went unchanged after Stallions was put on leave? LMFAO. You should let vegas know how much we benefitted.
Michigan did a great job establishing that this is not only a common practice that teams have great depth of knowledge on other's signs, but that other teams actively trade that information to others with intent, AND Michigan has information on in person scouting being done by other teams. So even if you think this is legal or illegal, it certainly devalues the nonsensical argument that Michigan somehow greatly benefited from a guy in the stands with a phone vs. Ryan Day's former assistance giving him advanced, broken down, in-game learned information from Rutgers.
All this is great, so why cheat? The OOC shows different. If you'd like to know why the last two years UM has been better. The first school in NCAA to win back to back OL of the year. More high round NFL draft picks than ever before for UM. I believe they said 11 day 1 picks is what they said. And next draft, we will set the NFL record for draft picks from a single school in 1 year.
Couple that with the best QB we have had in forever, who will be the 1st QB drafted in the 1st round out of Michigan since........Jim Harbaugh.
It is why it didn't matter we had no HC, no Stalions, on the road against a top 10 team and still won easily. Keep saying it is the signs though. Will make this year much more enjoyable.
Don't put me in the group with homer fans like MnB, though i'm hoping his responses are more an act than anything else. Stalions should most definitely be punished for whatever he did. If what has been reported is true and he was using his own personal credit card and his own public venmo -- It doesn't take an intellectual to figure out -- it wasn't a plan from the school. Nothing was hidden, when it very easily could have been. All this is great, so why cheat? The OOC shows different.
I love the same MI fans who wanted death penalty for the Buckeys because somehow tattoos make them better justifying cheating.
Cheaters always have an excuse and somehow think winning is justification. Love it.
You sure are acting like a home fan.Don't put me in the group with homer fans like MnB, though i'm hoping his responses are more an act than anything else. And OSU would have received a slap on the wrist if not for Tressel signing that compliance letter to the NCAA prior to the season, and then emails being found he knew well before the season. THAT is why they got hammered.
If it comes out Harbaugh did know about this -- we should get the exact same type of punishment. I'm willing to bet they find absolutely nothing connecting Harbaugh and if they do, he should be fired for pure stupidity.
Michigan is going to get some sort of punishment, but not until an investigation is completed and it will be sometime next year, as UM has 90 days to respond to whatever the NCAA finds in the investigation.
As far as how the B1G handled Harbaugh's suspension -- I'd be worried if I were Purdue, Ohio State and Rutgers as no chance they put the accusation out there without proof, in this case, in the form of text messages. so it can easily be tracked with metadata from the text, so those schools couldn't wipe out phones to try and hide the fact it was sent.
Always so wrong
Its not just my "argument" its the facts. The MI record before Stallions and the MI bowl record. MI needed help.
There is an ENORMOUS difference between an employee doing this on his own and the coach telling him to do this. He is going to face some sort of penalty, but it will depend on which one it is. If he knew -- he should be fired on the spot. You sure are acting like a home fan.
I never argued in any way about Tressel. He lied, he got what he deserved.
It doesnt matter if Harbs knew. Harbs is responsible. He showed early on that lying was acceptable which is my MI suspended him. He created this climate.
I just enjoy not having the holier than thou MI fans as they are all trying to justify cheating. No matters what happens in THE game, the world has already won.
If the ncaa determines this is a rule violation and determines it’s a level 1 rule violation, there will be a punishment. But given there’s no evidence the coaches knew (Harbaugh) and this guy is crazy, the ncaa, while they can hold a coach responsible, probably won’t go that far. Stallions will get a show cause for a while, Michigan will probably get fined and we’ll go about our merry way. The ncaa will allow helmet communications next year in response.Don't put me in the group with homer fans like MnB, though i'm hoping his responses are more an act than anything else. You shouldn't need to post that. I've told MnB REPEATEDLY about this. He refuses to accept the fact. Michigan is getting punished one way or the other, it depends on if it was a Stalions only, or if it were a group of coaches, or if it was Harbaugh all the way down.Just going to leave this here, because it makes no difference whether Stalions was a rogue agent or fully under the control of the coaching staff.
11.1 Conduct of Athletics Personnel.
11.1.1 Responsibility for Violations of NCAA Regulations. Institutional staff members found in violation of NCAA regulations shall be subject to disciplinary or corrective action as set forth in Bylaw 19.12, whether such violations occurred at the certifying institution or during the individual's previous employment at another member institution. (Revised: 7/31/14)
11.1.1.1 Responsibility of Head Coach. An institution's head coach shall be held responsible for the head coach's actions and the actions of all institutional staff members who report, directly or indirectly, to the head coach. In order to assist the NCAA Division I Committee on Infractions in penalty deliberations, the enforcement staff will gather information regarding whether the head coach promoted an atmosphere of compliance within the program and monitored the activities of all institutional staff members involved with the program who report, directly or indirectly, to the coach. (Adopted: 4/28/05, Revised: 10/30/12, 7/16/14, 8/31/22 effective 1/1/23).
Atmosphere of compliance? The coach was already suspended 3 games this year
No one is arguing the ncaa doesn’t have authority to punish the coach. But the ncaa has discretion and I think it’s safe to say the ncaa would almost certainly punish a program/coach more if they knew and/or participated.Just going to leave this here, because it makes no difference whether Stalions was a rogue agent or fully under the control of the coaching staff.

I never didn’t accept that? The ncaa can. The ncaa isn’t bound to. Nor has the ncaa suggested this is a violation and to what level. The ncaa would absolutely punish a program more if the coach participated or even if there was evidence the coach should have known. You shouldn't need to post that. I've told MnB REPEATEDLY about this. He refuses to accept the fact. If it was Stalions, it will be a slap on the wrist and Stalions fired. If it was a group of coaches, it was be a light penalty and other coaches being fired. If it came from the top down -- Fire all of them and slap UM with a big penalty.
Hhhhahahah you do keep me entertained when I am working. thank you.Lmfao. “Sources”. The fast timeline has yet to even issue a notice of allegations. And when that happens Michigan has 90 days to respond. So nothing can even happen with the ncaa until February at the earliest. And that’s if the ncaa issues something today to Michigan
Most likely they’re trying to determine if this is a rule violation and if not how to close the practice down or prepare a rule change for the immediate offseason.
You dummies will just suck up anything you see as clickbait and report it as “fact”.
