I guess I don't understand a hitting stat when I have to go 3 pages in to find Hank Aaron and still haven't seen Albert Pujols on the list.
By "gotta big head" do you mean normal head to breeko-block head in 18 months "gotta big head"?He's gotta big head so obviously right?
He stole that spinach from the Detroit Tigers … our home run leader has 14.
I always mention Berger on forgotten great players of yesteryear threads. This might be my favourite "dominant" season, check out what Wally Berger did in 1935 while playing for the worst team (they lost 115 games) in possibly the worst hitter's park in the NL. 34 HRs and the only other Brave who even hit more than 5 that year was 40 year old Babe Ruth. It's like the batting version of Steve Carlton in '72.

I think people would rather find a way around itI'm surprised at the coverage here tbh
We really gonna pretend that Bonds didn't hit 73
He's going for the American League record, Maris and 61.I'm surprised at the coverage here tbh

This is dumb too because there is literally zero difference between the leagues now. IL play happens all the time and both leagues have a designated hitterHe's going for the American League record, Maris and 61.
Not sure how that has anything to do with a single season record though... especially when the big record was in the NL when there was no DHThis is dumb too because there is literally zero difference between the leagues now. IL play happens all the time and both leagues have a designated hitter
Hank was consistently very good for a ridiculous amount of time, but didn't match those guys in single seasons.I guess I don't understand a hitting stat when I have to go 3 pages in to find Hank Aaron and still haven't seen Albert Pujols on the list.
I would sell #62 in a heartbeat... sorry Judge
I'd assume because they're saying they would be charitable when it's easy to say so since they won't have that decision to make. How is any of that "virtue signaling"?
But he cheated that’s the differenceI'm surprised at the coverage here tbh

No he didn’t.But he cheated that’s the difference
Ok if bonds didn’t cheat then why did he blow up from his early playing days to his later playing days. And you don’t hit the ball as far as he did when your as late in your career as he was. It just doesn’t happenNo he didn’t.
