Even if it was some of his "heart not being in it" his arm just didn't look as good as it has. Looked like it lost a step a good amount of the time. I guess we will see though. I could be wrong, but I think the Jets are going to be more disappointed than not. Even if they do happen to make the playoffs, to the fans this has to be considered a super bowl move.

You have to consider his surrounding cast though. Lazard was his WR1, and he in reality is nothing more than a decent back-end WR2 at best in this league. Christian Watson was barely even there until mid-November, and realistically he only had like 4 good games all year. Even in decline, the Jets haven't had a guy as good as him in ages. I think he has 2 more solid or even very good years in him, which should get the Jets at least to the wild card.
