I’m surprised Rutgers was even willing to give Wake a return trip. Big win for WF to get a Big Ten tournament caliber team to travel to them.
 
looks like Laravia made the right decision. first round pick to the Grizzlies

he may be the difference between the Deacs winning it all and just making the Final Four.
 
i have been in wait and see mode w/ Wake's roster but i'm feeling pretty pumped about the roster the closer we get to the season

think the starting line up will look like this

G- Appleby
G- Williamson
F- Monsanto
F- Carr
C- Bradford (he's slimmed a lot and the expectation is he's going to look more like his freshman self than his sophomore version)

but we'll see. hearing great things about Bobi Klintman

still not loving the non-conference schedule. hopefully the ACC is stronger this year, so we don't fuck ourselves on selection sunday

I'm interested to see how they look. On paper, the roster doesn't seem as talented as it was last season(with Williams and LaRavia). But before the season nobody would have predicted Williams to win POY and LaRavia to be a top-25 pick. Forbes will get the best out of his roster, so if there is added depth, I think Wake can get into the tournament.

Yeah but nobody knew who those guys were last year. and our offense relied way too much on Alondes. fwiw, he played hurt for the last few weeks of the season and the Deacs looked like shit. I think this will be a deeper team but not as top heavy
